Technology to Market (T2M)
• Technology transfer-related T2M function is proposed to be transferred to OTT from EERE in FY 2018.
• Continuation of T2M activities subject to coordination with Programs
• OTT’s priority is to those activities that directly or indirectly positively impact the abilities of the national labs to effect tech transfer and to engage with industry.
• Engagement with and recommendations from the Tech Transfer Policy Board, comprised of Program representatives, to balance the use of OTT funding collaboratively with the affected Programs
• Coordination with Programs – they remain funders of the awards
• Energy I-Corps – Develops industry engagement skills and supports technology transfer
• Small Business Vouchers (SBV) – Supports technical partnerships between labs and small businesses, lower barrier to small business access to National Labs
• Build4Scale – Provides manufacturing training and partnerships for energy entrepreneurs to encourage on-shore manufacturing and efficient scale up – possible follow on activity to Energy I-Corps
• Lab-Bridge – Supports lab-developed pilot projects to improve tech transfer and partnerships
