Welcome to the eighth annual South Coast Artists Studio Tour.

It’s time to “Discover Art & Soul” as you visit the studios of some of the best artists living, working and exhibiting in the four beautiful coastal towns of Tiverton, Little Compton, Westport and Dartmouth. Whether this is your first visit, or you’re a seasoned traveler to the South Coast, you’re sure to be impressed by the high quality and diversity of creative work being produced in these scenic communities.

This year the tour is happening on two separate weekends, July 16 – 17 and August 20 – 21, and includes 74 exhibiting artists. It’s a self-guided tour that takes you across small highways and rural byways. Along the way you’ll discover artists working in different mediums, such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography, sculpture, basketry, textiles, shells, ceramics, glass, wood, paper, jewelry and recycled materials. All you have to do is follow the map and look for blue and white “Open Studio” signs and the windsocks that mark each location.

Many of the artists on the tour will be demonstrating just how they create their one-of-a-kind artworks. Visit www.southcoastartists.org to download the updated schedule.

And, don’t worry if you can’t make it to every artist on the tour. Many of the artists welcome visitors at other times during the year. Artist contact information is provided in the brochure.
