(even if you call).

Students are encouraged to use the same mode of transportation on the FIRST day as they will all year
long.
Bus drivers will be giving out
colored bracelets Monday morning
to wear the entire week.

Hats are NOT allowed in the building unless you get a hat coupon. Then it is ok to wear it in my
classroom.
I allow hats to be worn during recess with parent permission.
Before and after recess the hat must be kept in
your backpack.
Athletic jerseys may be worn, but need a T-shirt underneath.
If you play on an athletic team you can’t wear your
uniform to school.
Tank tops are really nice to wear in the hot weather. Just
make sure the straps are wider. No spaghetti strap.

Showing your stomach is also not allowed.
Head to toe camouflage is NOT allowed.
It is so fun to get stick-on tattoos, but cover them up at school. If we
see them you’ll have to scrub it off.
No flip flops (shower shoes).
Dressy sandals can be worn.
Shorts should be at least mid-thigh.
No bike shorts
No designs in your hair.
No distracting hair styles or colors.
No pants with holes in them.
Jeans should be hemmed at the bottom. Jeans
with frayed strings at the
feet need to be taken care of.
Jeans should rise to the hip or higher. Jeans that hang
off the hipbone will be secured with rope.
Girls need to wear shorts under
their skirts and
dresses.
Belt buckles, snaps,
zippers, buttons and
laces all need to be done by
the child.
Please help your child become
independent.
