An Introduction to the UniversityWe’d like to formally welcome you with a short introduction to the University so please join us in the Arts Lecture Theatreat either 10:00 or 12:00.
There are tours of the facilities throughout the day and you can also take a walk around the Botanical Gardens, check out the Playing Fields or take a look in the Chapel.
The Academic Exhibition 09:00-15:00 Elphinstone HallYou’ll find all academic departments and student support services in Elphinstone Hall. Staff from Admissions, Accommodation and SAAS will be in Near Linklater, just across from the hall, to answer any questions. If you have any questions about alternative routes andpathways into university, please see the admissions table. The Academic ExhibitionLayout is on pages 6/7.
Don’t forget to visit the Far Linklater room where a snack shop serving breakfast rolls and refreshments will be available from 08:30-12:00.
iWhere to Start Your DayElphinstone LawnAfter you check in at one of our registration points, make sure you visit Elphinstone Lawn where you’ll experience live music and findthe popular lunchtime BBQ. The maininformation point and the meeting place for the campus and sports tours are here too.

For visitors who have registered for the Medicine programme, we are hosting activities and tours at our state of the art Foresterhill Campus. Please go directly to Foresterhill for registration.
NEED HELP?Our team of Student Ambassadors, all current students, will guide you around campus, answer your questions and give you an insight into student life at Aberdeen. Look out for them on campus in their red hoodies and find them at the information points.

TOURSMeet outside Elphinstone Hall for Campus and AberdeenSports Village Tours. Campus tours run from 08:30-12:00every 15 minutes and 12:00-15:00 every 30 minutes.Sports tours are every 30 minutes from 09:30-15:00(last tour departs at 15:00).
Library and Hillhead Student Village tours are self-guided throughout the day. See full details on pages 10 and 12.

Our premier £28 million sports development, Aberdeen Sports Village and Aquatics Centre was used was used as a training ground for the Olympics and Commonwealth Games.
The venue offers a range of activities, available to all students, and at all levels.
We also have an active Sports Union. Whether you’re a beginner or competitive athlete, the opportunities to get involved are vast and varied.
Facilities in the Sports Village include:• Olympic standard 50m, 10 lane training and competition swimming pool
• 25m pool with full floating floor and full diving facilities including springboards and platforms up to 10m
• Full size FIFA approved indoor football pitch
• Indoor 135m running straight with throwing and jumping areas
• 9 court sports hall
