Club Members,

It has been one great summer, with all the shows and runs with our club. I am pleased to say I look forward to an even better season next

year.

Please take the time to fill out your renewal forms in there entirety, so we can keep track of birthdays and anniversaries, and add any special

days for us to share.

Daddy D productions at Riverside Ballroom 1960’s Dinner show has discounts of $5 per couple for Corvettes of the Bay members. Call 920-544-4244 and book your seats for this one night show on October

12th. Doors open at 5:30pm.

Chicken Run by Dale and Kathy Ott is set for October 14, meet at the Ravine Banquet Hall off

Highway 43 and J in Green Bay at 1:00pm, near A&W and Festival Foods/Menards east.

The Halloween Party is back after many years. I think it is time to have one and see how the members like it. See all of you at Wally’s Spot on Saturday, October 27th at 6:30 pm. Costume is preferred but not a must. Enjoy our entertainment; ELVIS will be playing from 7:30 to 9:00. We

Monthly Meeting Minutes - October 2nd

, 2012

President Mike Cropsey called the meeting to order at 8:11 PM at Wally’s Spot with approximately 65 members in attendance. Mike requested that all cell phones have their ringers turned off. Reviewed last meeting’s minutes.

New Members: Welcome to new members John & Sheila Dovorany, MaryAnn & Steve McFarlane.

Membership: On Oct. 1st membership renewal starts. Mike presented the board’s decision to give back to the members by giving a discount of $8 for each member for the Christmas party if you renew by Dec. 31, 2012. If you only do a single, then your guest must pay full price.

Foxy Lady Cruise and Packer Tailgate Party: Meet at Fleet Farm West Side at 9 am if you want to meet up with Fox Vettes. If you want to just do the cruise Fox Vettes has changed the time to meet at the Foxy Lady to 11:30 am New Cars or Projects: Gary & Joyce Olson have taken delivery on their new 2012 Grand Sport Coupe.

September Dinner Run: Jon Simonar organized and led the run to Northbrook Country Club. It was a great run. Good dinner – Thanks to Jon.

Chicken Run: Dale and Kathy Ott have planned this year’s chicken run. Meet at the Ravine at 1:00 pm. Run will be on paved rustic roads along the lake shore. First stop will be about 2:30 pm at Branch River Country Club. The destination will be the Woodfire Grill by Brillion about 4:30 pm. The restaurant will honor your Packers ticket books for a discount. We will order off the menu. You can drive home at your leisure.

Christmas party: Sue Rabideau is planning the party that will be at Wally’s Spot January 5, 2013. Members were reminded that they will be getting $8 off of the dinner per paid membership if dues are paid by December 31,2012.

Sundae on Sunday: Mike has not had time to set up any runs recently. Anyone who would like to set up a Sundae Run please step forward. Make the run as simple or complex as you want. Tom Smith or Gerard Rajek will help get the word out to the club members.

Wine Run: Karen and Gary Forehand led the wine run Sept. 29. Group of 5 cars met at 11:30 for lunch at Stadium View and left about 12:30 for the drive to Captain’s Walk, Parallel 44, Peninsula Winery and Harbor Ridge, then to dinner at Wally’s Spot. Door prizes were given out at supper.

Fall run to Mackinaw: Wendy Cropsey gave a run down on the Fall Run. 23 cars met at Grand Central Shell and left about 8 am. Nice stops along the way, door prizes at lunch. 1 incident—Dave and Donna Musial hit a deer—damaged the windshield—no injuries except for their Vette. A great time was had by all. It was a fun run. There were many compliments on how well planned the run was. Next year it will be earlier to tie into the Cross Roads Corvette Show event

Bowler Casino Beer Fest: Oct 6. Meeting at 9:30 am at Maplewood Meats.

Treasurers Report: All bills are paid and we have a positive balance. Club membership is the highest it has ever been for the month of October. Remember to get your dues paid early to enjoy club benefits. All members will get a new club windshield sticker.
