Learning Skills Department

Use Google Chrome to open and access Blackboard

1. Click on MyJCC from the main College website toolbar

2. Log in: type in username and password

3. Open up Blackboard by clicking on Blackboard under the Launchpad menu

4. In Blackboard, Click on The Learning Skills Department (Tutoring) under My Organizations

5. Check the Master Schedule to verify when your lab is scheduled

6. Click on Open Labs in the side navigation menu

7. Click on Appropriate Lab

8. If the Lab isn’t there, please recheck the Master Schedule or pop in to the Help Room

for assistance

9. If Lab is there, click Join Session

10. Set up Video - Click Allow

11. Set up Audio - Click Allow

12. Click Purple Tab to access Group Chat

13. Type in the chat box your full name, (for math lab type in the math course i.e. math 125) and press enter. Then wait for instruction from the Tutor.
