§ You must be willing to work online, anywhere anytime

§ Your English level must be enough to read/write technical texts (questions, statements, answers, etc…)

§ Your subject/matter knowledge must be enough. § Skipping plenty of questions will revoke your ID§ We recommend to review content and subject textbooks before your application

§ You must have/get a PayPal Account. This is the way we send payments§ Get your PayPal account ASAP, its free!

§ The Team Leader will define if your knowledge for the subject and technical/educational approaches fit our profile.

§ The Trial is nothing more but to actually start live tutoring!

§ Your credential (login information such as username, password, e-mail) will be submitted by the Team Leader§ Typically, all credentials are submitted on Wednesday evening§ Credential will be active until Friday Morning

§ The Team Leader will assign you:§ A goal, good practices§ Rules, guidelines§ Avoid Plagiarism and Abusive conducts§ A deadline (initial date and final date)

§ The Team Leader will reivew your activity periodically§ He will send you weekly reports§ Review your activity overall§ Will push you to finish your mission/goal

§ Do I get paid for the Trial?§ Typically, the Trial is paid $1.00 USD per question answered, independent of the subject

§ What if I do not finish the Trial Activity on time?§ An extension could be considered by your team leader, otherwise, selection process will be

suspended or cancelled

§ Can I finish the Trial in a single day?§ YES! Even though this is not normal, some tutors have finished in a single day. Their

dedication is considered! Please note that if quality is not enough, you might get a new mission assigned, or the Team Leader could directly decline your application/selection process.

§ Can I try several trials?§ Not likely, but this depends on the team leader only

§ Is it possible to apply for several subjects and trials?§ Typically, we will assign you a SINGLE trial. § We recommend you to choose the subject you feel more confident.§ If this Trial goes correctly, a direct invitation to other subject tutoring could be possible

§ My direct link to questions & answers will not work, why?§ This is most likely because your credential has been suspended/revoked due to low

quality/abuse/plagiarism or any other violation to the guidelines

§ If I fail at the Trial, can I apply to other subject?§ Yes, only if you haven’t:

§ Been flagged by plagiarism§ Done any kind of abusive behavior/conduct in the platform

§ I didn’t like the platform/trial. What should I do?§ You are here because we look for quality tutors, but we can force you to work in a place

you are not willing to; therefore, we recommend you to contact your Team Leader and suspenc/cancell your application

§ Subject knowledge requirements are too high than those shown in the questions/templates. Why?§ Note that this platform is “live” students all around the world of all levels ( basic,

intermediate, highschool, university, masters, PhD) use it. The questions will vary with time to time.

§ Some seasons might get harder than others, for instance final exams are always harder than the first weeks of class.

§ Please consider your Team Leader, he will guide you with the subject knowledge requirements, specially in advanced subjects.

§ Is it possible to suspend/pause my selection process?§ Yes, depends on the the work load (season) but your can ask your team leader for a pause.§ This must be stated BEFORE any warning on your lack of activity. Please ensure to

communicate any kind of personal situations

§ I’m taking too long to answer. What should I do?§ This is normal, new tutors are getting used to the content/material as well as the

platform. Average answer time for new tutors is about 40-60 minutes per answer.§ As time passes by, tutors get more comfortable with the platform. They typically lower

their answer time to 15 minutes or even lower.

§ I’m not getting questions. I get a “No more questions on queue”. What should I do?§ This is normal, specially in low peak seasons/holidays/vacations.§ Expect this between

§ mid December – end January.§ mid May – mid September

§ Refresh and reload the site periodically, questions will eventually appear

§ What are some tips in order to maximize my chances to get a possitive review?§ Ensure questions answered are within the deadline§ Please note that Quality is a MUST, not optional. Ensure it is the best of quality on your

answers§ Have a direct/constant communication flow between you and your team leader§ Do NOT ignore feedback and e-mail communication

§ expect Service Contract§ Your rate/payment per question will be updated§ Bonuses will be included

§ All payments are done via PayPal

§ There are several rates and fees which must be considered.

§ Payment is done for any complete 5-7 question + CV application (immediate)

§ Payment is done only for successful Trial Application (immediate)

§ Payments are done 25 days after the end of month to regular tutors.

§ Payments for priority tutors will vary depending on season/subject, but are done typically in 10-15 days after the previous activity month.

§ CV + Application Questions § Answer between to 5-7 questions.§ Payment is 1 USD per question, up to a max. of 7 USD.§ If 10 questions were submitted, this increases your chances, but please note that only 7

USD will be paid

§ Trial for Online Tutor§ Live tutoring on the platform§ Goal is set typically by the team leader of each subjects. Varies from 20-25 questions.§ Payment is 1 USD per question answered. This is the Trial – Rate.§ Payment will be adjusted
