• Online tax payment deals with the integration of a software application that maintains and keeps an eye on tax payment details of all levels of salaried tax payers.

• The system provides solutions that are effective and efficient for the tax payers as well as the Income Tax Department.

• The system consists of three modules namely tax payer, tax department and bank module.

Problem Statement

• Online tax payment deals with the integration of a software application that maintains and keeps an eye on tax payment details of all levels of salaried people.

• The system provides solutions that are effective and efficient for the tax payers as well as the Income Tax Department.

• The old system involves facilitation of tax online by tax payers.

• To avail of this facility the taxpayer is required to have a net-banking account with any of the Authorized Banks.

• Here the challan must be manually entered by tax payers which are a tedious process.

• Other than that no acknowledgement will be sent to the tax payer. Due to this the tax payer is not updated properly about the amount of tax to be paid.

• The new system involves gathering of the details of the tax payer from the database based on which a challan will be generated based on the details provided.

• tax payer module involves registration of the tax payer by providing his/her personal details.

• In the tax department module the system will gather a request from the tax payer and a challan will be generated automatically.

• An acknowledgment along with the tax payer’s challan will be sent to tax payer’s particular E-Mail.

• In the bank the payment is done either through net banking or through debit card where the amount to be paid is calculated using the tax department module.

• The payment can be done online which reduces the time taken to pay tax.

• An acknowledgement will be again sent via E-mail after payment of tax amount.

Conclusion

• We have developed an application which deals with the integration of a software application that maintains and keeps an eye on tax payment details of all levels of salaried tax payers.

• For providing security while registering into the application we have included captcha verification where the user will have to enter the code that is generated in random manner

• An acknowledgment will be sent to the tax payer via e-mail once the details are gathered by the tax department system.

captcha, name availability and one time password.• An acknowledgement will be sent to the tax payer‘s
