Thank you for Registering to Online Short Term Course NanoDev 2020. All the sessions of

STC NanoDev-2020 will be hosted on CISCO WebEx. Please read all the following details

and procedure to join different sessions of the course. Login details about STC are also

available on https://bit.ly/NRL-PEC.

Procedure to Join any Session:

A. Follow the below steps if joining through web-browser on Desktop/Laptop:

Step 1: Open webex.com on your web-browser and click Join (Top right corner)

Step 2: Enter the Session Number for the respective session you want to join. (All the session

numbers are provided in the table above).

Step 3: Enter the info required for the session – Enter Your Name and Email Address

(with which you have registered to this course ) and Session Password as nanodev2020.

Then Click Join now.

Step 4: For the first time , Google Chrome will require to install WebEx chrome extension.

For this Click on Add Webex to Chrome.

Step 5: Click Add to Chrome. Another pop-up will appear – Click Add Extension. After this

step, one .exe file will be downloaded.

Step 6: Run the Application (.exe file which was downloaded). And you are ready to start

Webex.

Step 7: The final screen is shown below. All the questions should be asked in the Chat

window. The participant is requested to keep the Microphone and Video off.

B. Follow the below Steps if joining through Mobile/Tablet:

Step 1: Download the Cisco Webex Meetings App on your Mobile/Tablet from Playstore on

Android or app-store on IOS devices.

Step 2: After Installing the Application, Open the application.

Step 3: Click on Join Meeting and Enter the Session Number (Given in above table for each

session), Your Name and Email ID (with which you registered for this course)

Step 4: After Filling all the details, Click on Join Button (top right Corner), A pop-up will

appear asking for Session Password.

Step 5: After Filling the Session Password, Click Join to enter the meeting. Screen of

panelists will be visible to you. It is recommended that you don’t turn on your microphone

and camera. You can only use Chat window to ask questions.
