ONLINE SEAN NS IRISH SINGING CLASSES

Traditional Irish sean ns singing is a highly-ornamented style ofsolo, unaccompanied singing. It is a rather complex way of singingin Gaelic, confined mainly to some areas in the west and south of

Ireland. It is unaccompanied and has a highly ornamented melodic

line.

No aspect of traditional Irish music can be fully understood without

a deep appreciation of sean ns singing. It is the key that opens

every lock

Date: Semester to begin during week of September 24th. Dates &times will be based on interest and preference. Full immersion

weekend with onsite sean ns instructor over T-CAIF weekend(November 16th, 17th & 18th).

Where: Online and OMore College of Design, Franklin TN ($10 perclass).
