Registration of students for admission to UG courses in the following Eleven Government colleges ofSikkim for theAcademic year 2017-18 will be through online only. Students are directed to visit:www.sgcregistration.com / www.rusasikkim.com or apply through Mobile Application

Online registrations are invited for admission into following Government colleges for academic year 2017.

INSTRUCTION - Online Registration for Admission of students in Eleven Government Colleges of Sikkim

Note: Please keep the following documents ready before filling up the Online Registration Form-All relevant Category-based documents, scan copy of passport size photograph (Size of the image must begreater than 4 kb and less than 40 kb), scan copy of the Mark sheet of 10+2 (Size of the Mark sheet mustnot be greater than 2 mb), scan copy of the Demand Draft if payment made through Offline mode (size ofthe Demand Draft must not be greater than 1 mb)

1. Please read the Information carefully before filling the Online Application Form.

2. Candidates should register for admission through website www.sgcregistration.com only.

3. Candidate can apply for more than one course/college but he/she will get admission in one college &

in one course only.

4. Prospectus Fees: Prospectus fee of Rs 300 will be charged per college. Prospectus fee will be calculatedbased on the number of colleges the applicant applies for.

Getting Started1.1. Start a web browser (Internet explorer, Google chrome, Firebox Mozilla etc.) available on your

computer.1.2. On the address bar type: https://www.sgcregistration.com and then press “Enter” key on

the keyboard.1.3. Then the following page of Student Online Registration website will open.

(Please Read the Instructions carefully)

Figure 1 If the applicant is new then he/ she should click on <Register> button or <Register> link which is

shown in Fig 1. Now the following Registration Form page will be displayed.

If the applicant is already registered, click <Log in> and login with your application no. and

password.

Step 1: Registration Form Submission ProcessClick on the <Register> button and the following page will be open.

Fill up the Registration Form. The candidate should fill in all the required personal details in the Registration Form and also set

PASSWORD. After filling up all the details, click <Submit> button. After successful submission, Application No. will be generated and will be sent to the registered

mobile number & e-mail id provided in the Registration form.Note: This same Application No. will be used to complete the remaining steps of the applicationsubmission process and for all future correspondence/subsequent logins.

Step 2: Log InOnce you have successfully submitted your Registration Form the following page will be displayed.

Please click on <Click Here to Login and proceed to your registration process> link or <Login> link forfurther process. The following Login page will be displayed.

Figure: 4 Provide Application No and Password for login process and click on <Log in> button. Once you login successfully, the following “Student Registration Form” Page will be displayed.

Step 3: Registration FormAfter successful Login, the following page will be displayed.

Fill in the required details and click on the <Submit> button, you will be directed to the next page “BasicInformation Form”

Note: The data provided can be edited (the Roll No. & Name of CBSE candidates is not editable)

Step 4: Basic Information Form

Figure: 5 Fill the Basic Information form and click on <Save> button. Note: The fields marked “*” are compulsory fields. Before saving the Basic Information form, please check & verify Once the Basic Information form is successfully saved, the following “Examination Details Form”

will be displayed.

Fill the Examination details and Upload the scanned image of the Mark sheet (Size of the Marksheet must not be greater than 2 mb)

Provide subject details & marks of all the subjects studied in class XII. Upload the scanned image of recent passport size photograph in jpg/jpeg format only (Size of the

image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 40 kb) Once you have successfully saved Examination details, click on <Next> button. The candidate will now be directed to the next page “College Preference Form”

Step 6: College Preferences

Figure: 7 The candidate will have to add the colleges and courses as per their preferences/priority for which

they seek admission. However, allocation of seats will be done on merit basis fully driven by the preference, category &

percentage calculation. After saving the College Preference click on <Next> button. The candidate will be directed to the “Confirm Details” page.

Verify and confirm the details provided before final submission. Note: The Candidate will be allowed to modify/change the particulars after confirmation (Roll No. &

Name of CBSE candidates is not editable)

Click on the <Edit> button to edit the relevant fields

After confirming the details “ Payment Details” page will be displayed.

Step 8: Pay Prospectus Fee

There are two modes of payment: 1. Online Mode- Net-banking/ Debit/Credit card2. Offline Mode- Demand Draft

Click on the preferred mode of payment and make the payment. If the applicant opts for Online Payment (net banking/debit card/credit card) payment: print the

payment slip after successful payment & Keep the payment slip safely for future reference. For offline payment, the candidate will have to fill in the Demand Draft details and upload the scan

copy of the Demand Draft (size of the Demand Draft must not be greater than 1 mb). The originalDemand Draft has to be submitted during admission.

In case of Partial / incomplete payment, the applications will be treated valid only for the toppreferred colleges.

Note: For any type of payment, transaction charges will be charged by the bank.The candidate can check the payment status / details and download/print the same for future reference.
