    ABP eligible employees should begin by selecting

    To create a new KPI, select the green + sign

    It is recommended that you create no more than 3-5 Individual KPIs intotal

    For ABP purposes, 1-3 of your Individual KPIs must be measurable

    KPIs need to be aligned

    Alignment can be done by managers who can cascade KPIs by using theAssign function or by employees who can select certain KPIs from their

    managers Goal Plan and copy them to their own Goal Plan using theThrough Alignment function

    When Through Alignment is chosen, theemployee can see and select KPIs from

    their manager that the manager hasmarked as Public

    Goal (KPI) Alignment

    Click on Selected Employees, thenselect the direct report(s) to whom

    you want to assign the KPI(s)

    The KPI will then appear in the GoalPlan of the assigned employee(s)

    Another way for a manager to share KPIs with their employeesis to use the Assign feature to cascade KPIs to direct reports

    Assign the selected goal to my direct reports

    To assign, from your Goal Plan, selectthe KPI(s) you want to assign, then

    select the button "Assign theselected Goal to my direct reports"

    Mark as ABP EligibleIndicates if this KPI's % of

    achievement is to be used todetermine the payout of the ABP

    Attach a File

    Employees can add attachments to their own Goal Plan. Managers cannot attach documents to

    their employees Goal Plans but will be able to see the documents attached by their employee .The maximum allowable, combined file size for all attachments per Goal Plan year is 5 MBs

    If you use the Attachment function to enter your KPIs into the tool, you MUST create at least one generic KPI(can be named "see attachment "). This KPI will be flagged as ABP Eligible. It will be used tocalculate your ABP eligible KPI % of achievement and its rating will provide your Overall Performance Levelthat will be sent to the compensation tool in 2015. Without those two elements, your Individual part of theABP will be at 0

    Browse for the file to be addedTo begin, select Show Tools

    ABP eligible employees you must enter all KPI detail/vaues into the tool. Attachments can be usedfor additional description, but cannot contain the values and measures

    To remove a KPI, check the KPI to be deleted, select the red " -" button andconfirm your decision

    To update a KPI, edit the fields you want to change and press the Save buttonSome edits will require a manager to re-approve the Goal Plan*

    Delete and Update a KPI

    *Edits/changes that revert the Goal Plan to unapproved status include changes to: KPI name,description, initial value, target value, measurement text, rating

    Request Goal Plan Approval

    Approval must be requested from a manager for new or updated KPI(s) from the TaskBar or by selecting the More Actions drop down where you can also select the option

    Review the KPIs and then approve or reject. If you reject, you shouldinform your employee of the reason for the rejection

    For People Managers - Approve/Reject Goal Plan for direct reports

    After an employee completes their KPIs and requests managerapproval, you will be notified via email and a new task will appearin your Task List
