DLSS - Welcome

• Welcome to our online orientation, a short presentation about what we can do for you.

• The DCU Disability and Learning Support Service provides supports to all Students with a Disability across campus and all Undergrad & Postgrad programs

• We work with all colleges and schools as well as all other student services. Everybody from Admissions to Exams and everything in between.

Why should you register with us?

In order to access supports students must register with the Service

We support all students with disabilities attending DCU be they Full time, part time or Oscail students

We organise Exam supports and a range of academic supports

We can liaise with schools & colleges to assist you with your studies

The aim of the DLSS is to support students while maintaining the academic integrity of the course

Why do people need to know about your disability?

By disclosing your disability it means that you will be assisted in accessing a range of reasonable supports, provided by the DLSS. Exam Accommodations

Any information that you provide to the DLSS will remain confidential.

It is important to remember however, that the DLSS cannot provide support in isolation.

With your permission, information will be disclosed solely for the purpose of arranging the necessary support for you

Students who wish to apply for examination supports are required to register with the Disability and Learning Support Service no later than 1st November each year.
