ONLINE MASTER OF HEALTH ADMINISTRATION at the George Washington University PROGRAM OVERVIEW MHA@GW is the online Master of Health Administration (MHA) program from the renowned Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University. Designed for working professionals with at least two years of full-time experience in the health sector or three years of full-time experience in any other industry, MHA@GW offers students the opportunity to form connections with other health care professionals in seminar-style, online classes. Students' professions range from acute care and clinical practitioners to positions in technical, legal or pharmaceutical fields. The curriculum builds expertise in a range of critical skill sets necessary for optimal delivery of health care, including: Management and strategy Finance and economics • Quality improvement Information technology and decision science Community health and quantitative methods Law and regulation These targeted areas of study are addressed through a series of 10- week online modules. During their time in the program, students will also meet in person to attend four real-world immersive learning events, which focus on leadership, ethics, health system analysis and research. These immersions are hosted at the GW campus in Washington, D.C. and at health organizations across the U.S. and around the world. CAREER ADVANCEMENT Earning your MHA can position you to assume leadership roles in a range of health-related fields.
