Challenges

Each month, Bexley Children’s University (Bexley CU) launches a new challenge, which can be completed

to earn stamps for your passport. They cover a range of activities and there is often more than one

challenge each month, or a selection of ways in which you can complete the challenge. This means it is open

and suitable for all ages and the outcome of the challenge can be age appropriate.

Normally, the challenges should be completed in the month they are set, but up until September 2020 this

is being relaxed to give more opportunities for stamps to be completed whilst pupils are not able to earn

stamps at after-school clubs. Here are some examples of the challenges:

Facebook album of all Bexley CU Challenges:

They are launched on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages at the beginning of the month, with

additional challenges being launched throughout the month to coincide with special days.

If you do not have social media, please email [email protected] with the title “Challenges” and they

can be emailed directly to you.

Blue Peter Badges

There are eight Blue Peter badges you can earn, which cover lots of different activities… can you

collect them all?

Blue badges are awarded for sending in interesting letters, stories, makes, pictures, poems,

good ideas for the programme, and for having appeared on Blue Peter.

Green badges are awarded for sending in letters, pictures and makes that are about the

environment, conservation or nature.

Silver badges are awarded to Blue badge holders who go on to make an extra effort.

The Fan Club badge is awarded for joining the Blue Peter fan club and answering some

questions about the show and the website.

The Music badge is a very special badge, designed by superstar Ed Sheeran. It's awarded to

those who show off their passion for music by learning a new instrument or being part of a

musical performance.

The Sport badge is awarded for getting active and trying a sport or physical activity that you

have never tried before. Each year a new limited edition badge is released that is only

available during the summer. This means you can collect a new Sport badge every single year!

Orange badges are given to winners and runners up of Blue Peter competitions.

Gold badges are very rare indeed. Each year only a few are awarded in exceptional

circumstances for outstanding achievements, for example being solely responsible for saving

someone's life, or showing amazing and unique bravery, courage and citizenship.

Please note that the application process for each badge is different, so please click on the link below
