SECTION-B: How to self-attach to an auction

Some points to remember 1. Self-attachment to auction can be done as soon as the catalogue is available on the website.

2. Once attached, Permanent EMD bidders will not have to self- attach themselves to auction (of that Client/product category)

as long as the Permanent EMD is available in the name of mj/Client.

3. If bidder gives Permanent EMD in the name of mj for the first time, he has to self-attach himself to the interested Client/Client-Category auction for the first time. From next time you will automatically get attached to that particular Client/Client Category auction.

4. When a catalogue is revised – For Lot-wise, Catalogue-wise & Group-wise EMD cases, you have to re-attach

yourself to auction for every revision of catalogue.

5. While selecting the catalogue or the lots for self-attachment, be careful to select the correct lot/group where

you are interested to bid. Once you have self-attached to a lot/group/catalogue you cannot detach as the

money will get blocked.

6. Bidders debarred from participating in any Client’s auctions/Client product category auction will not be able to self- attach

themselves and hence cannot participate in that particular Client’s auctions/that particular Client product category auction.

7. If you have self-attached yourself with EMD in the name of mj to an auction where the EMD is auction specific (catalogue-

wise/group-wise/lot-wise) this money can be viewed as EMD Blocked against auction Pool.

a) If you are not H1 in the auction, your EMD will automatically return to the Free Pool after the auction is closed.

You can then use that money in any other Client auction where EMD is in the name of mj through self-attachment

in the new auction.

b) If you are H1 in the auction, your EMD will be blocked till such time auction results are declared. In case your lots

are not approved the EMD money will automatically return to the Free Pool. Your money is then free to use in any

other Client auction where EMD is in the name of mj through self-allocation in the new auction.

c) If you are H1 in the auction, your EMD will be blocked till such time auction results are declared. In case your lots

are approved the EMD money will be treated as per the Terms and Conditions of the Catalogue.
