A range of Schools Program qualifications are fee-free for students and covered under VETiS ( Vocational Education & Training in Schools) funding.
Please ensure you research your decision when choosing the most suitable qualification to study as students are only entitled to receive one qualification funded by VETiS.

to cover the cost of training. All courses listed in this guide include any associated costs.

Applications close 5pm Friday 23rd October 2015.
After completing your application, TAFE Queensland Gold Coast will contact your school to request endorsement of your application, which is formal permission from your school to acknowledge that you will be released from school to participate in the selected course.
TAFE Queensland Gold Coast will email you and your parent/guardian directly (to the email addresses supplied on your application) with enrolment instructions and associated forms to complete prior to enrolling.
Contact TAFE Queensland Gold Coast Customer Service to process your enrolment and pay any applicable fees.
Classes will commence in January/February 2016Important: From 1 July 2014, each year 10, 11 or 12 student in Queensland may access ONE funded employment stream qualification while at school (students who at 30 June 2014 had already completed, or commenced, one or more funded positions will be eligible for one additional enrolment after 30 June). It is important that you have carefully considered your course choice before applying.
Programs that are funded by the 2015/2016 Annual VET Investment Plan are marked with an * in this guide. Please make sure you speak to your Careers Office at school for further information.

Interpersonal and communication skills. Express your ideas clearly and confidently in speech and in writing. Your contributions to class discussions and time spent on written theory assessments will build these skills.

If you are looking to begin your studies at TAFE Queensland, then this is your opportunity to secure your education through our scholarships program.
You can use a scholarship to support education related expenses including course fees, tuition costs, text books, cost of living expenses, travel costs and vital tools and equipment such as laptops, to allow you to maximise your education experience at TAFE Queensland.
There are two types of scholarships available, Merit scholarships, and Access and Equity scholarships, with the choice to study across a whole range of industries in Certificate III courses to Advanced Diploma courses.
You can apply for a scholarship to study in 2016, with applications closing 31 October 2015.
