BBC Television Centre

BBC= British Broadcasting Corporation

I have chosen the visit to the BBC television centre because I think that it’s the most

interesting. I have never been in a television set, and I would like to see it.

Furthermore, I might to see a famous there.

In this activity you can:

-Take an exclusive look into the BBC news room.

-Take part in making your own bit of TV in their interactive studio.

-You’ll be able to see memorabilia from BBC programmers such as Doctor Who, and

venture into the dressing-rooms or green rooms that have hosted so many famous

guests over the decades.

The tour will last between one and half and two hours. It’s essential pre-booking, and

the regulars tours are Monday to Saturday. (Phone from UK: 0370 901 1227, Phone

from outside the UK: +44 132 42 7770). The prices are: adult 9.95 pounds, concession

8.95 pounds, and students 7.50 pounds.

Oxford Street

Let’s visit London!

London is an amazing city; there are a lot of things to do there and many places to stay

in. But if you come with me I will show you Oxford Street and we will book into Royal

National Hotel (I have been there before and It’s a good choice).

First of all, we would take a mean of transport such as tube, bus, cab, etc. Oxford

Street is relatively near from this hotel.

I have chosen this place because I love shopping and in this road we can visit more

than 300 shops. In fact, it’s the longest commercial street in the world, around 2000m.

You can find products at any cost. Let’s take Marks & Spencer, HMV, H&M, Benetton,

Zara, Bershka, Adidas, Topshop, Primark, Gap and Nike as examples.

We would eat in any of these places KFC Kentucky Fried Chicken, subway, Starbucks

Coffee, Eat, Pret a Manger, McDonalds, Cornish Bakehouse.

Every Christmas, the street is decorated with festive lights. Each year a famous person

opens the lighting. Some of the celebrities are Leona Lewis, Enrique Iglesias, Spice

Girls, etc. So I recommend you to go at Christmas.

Greenwich Park

Greenwich Park is a calm park with a lot of trees where you can walk, have a rest, etc First we are going to visit the observatory and the maritime museum. The access is free. To go there you have to take a bus and to pay we will use Oyster.

Night in London

In addition, we have decided to add information about the night in London. We have

found some discos names and comedy club’s names like Ministry of sound (with two

floors and house music), Madame Jo Jo’s (where there are performance and all type of

music: hip hop, rock, disco…), Jongleours Comedy Club and Comedy Carnival.
