❖ CALL TO WORSHIP from Psalm 43

Leader: Send out your light and your truth, O God; let them lead me.

People: Let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling!

Leader: Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy.

People: I will praise you with songs of joy, O God, my God!

❖ LET YOUR KINGDOM COMEBob Kauflin

Your glorious cause, O God, engages our hearts. May Jesus Christ be known wherever we are. We ask not for ourselves, but for your renown. The cross has saved us so we pray: Your kingdom come.

Chorus: Let your kingdom come, let your will be done, So that everyone might know your name. Let your song be heard everywhere on earth, ‘Til your sovereign work on earth is done. Let your kingdom come!

Give us your strength, O God, and courage to speak. Perform your wondrous deeds through those who are weak. Lord, use us as you want, whatever the test. By grace we’ll preach your Gospel till our dying breath. (Chorus)

Let your will be done, So that everyone might know your name. Let your song be heard everywhere on earth, Til your sovereign work on earth is done. (Chorus)

❖ YET NOT I BUT THROUGH CHRIST IN MEJonny Robinson, Rich Thompson, and Michael Farren

What gift of grace is Jesus my Redeemer; There is no more for heaven now to give. He is my joy, my righteousness, and freedom; My steadfast love, my deep and boundless peace. To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus; For my life is wholly bound to his. Oh how strange and divine; I can sing: all is mine! Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

The night is dark, but I am not forsaken; For by my side, the Savior, he will stay. I labour on in weakness and rejoicing; For in my need, his power is displayed. To this I hold, my Shepherd will defend me; Through the deepest valley he will lead. Oh the night has been won, and I shall overcome! Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

No fate I dread, I know I am forgiven; The future sure, the price it has been paid. For Jesus bled and suffered for my pardon And he was raised to overthrow the grave. To this I hold, my sin has been defeated. Jesus now and ever is my plea. Oh the chains are released; I can sing: I am free! Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

With every breath I long to follow Jesus, For he has said that he will bring me home. And day by day I know he will renew me Until I stand with joy before the throne.

To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus; All the glory evermore to him. When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat: Yet not I, but through Christ in me! (Repeat)

When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat: Yet not I, but through Christ in me! Yet not I, but through Christ in me! Yet not I, but through Christ in me!

HEAL USWilliam Cowper, Lucas Morton, and Kevin Twit

Chorus: Heal us, Emmanuel, here we are. We long to feel thy touch. Deep wounded souls to thee we fly; O Savior hear our cry.

Our faith is feeble, we confess we faintly trust thy Word. But will you pity us the less? Be that far from you Lord! (Chorus)

Remember him who once applied, with trembling for relief, Lord, I believe, with tears he cried, O help my unbelief! (Chorus)

She, too, who touched you in the press, And healing virtue stole, Was answered, Daughter, go in peace, Thy faith has made thee whole. (Chorus)

Like her, with hopes and fears We come to touch you if we may. O send us not despairing home; Send none unhealed away! (Chorus 2x)

PRAYER OF CONFESSION

Lord Jesus, we come to you repenting of our sins. You can make the lame walk; you can heal the eyes of the blind; you can release prisoners; you have the authority to forgive sin.

Forgive our sins. We look to you alone for life. We pray this in your name, Amen.

❖ WORDS OF ASSURANCE from 1 John 1

Leader: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

People: In Christ, we are forgiven. Thanks be to God!

❖ ALL MUST BE WELL Mary Bowley-Peters and Matthew S. Smith

Through the love of God our Savior, all will be well! Free and changeless is his favor, all is well. Precious is the blood that healed us; Perfect is the grace that sealed us; Strong the hand stretched forth to shield us; All must be well.

Page 5: ONE… · Though we pass through tribulation, all will be well! ... live at peace with their neighbor, and seek strength to live more faithfully are welcome to partake. If you are

Though we pass through tribulation, all will be well! Ours is such a full salvation, all is well. Happy still in God confiding; Fruitful if in Christ abiding; Steadfast through the Spirit's guiding; All must be well.

We expect a bright tomorrow; all will be well! Faith can sing through days of sorrow, all is well.

On our Father's love relying, Jesus every need supplying, Yes in living or in dying; all must be well. (Repeat)

❖ AMAZING GRACE AMAZING GRACE, Traditional American melody, John Newton

Amazing grace! – how sweet the sound – That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found – Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; 'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be, As long as life endures.

And when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess within the veil A life of joy and peace.

When we've been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun,

We've no less days to sing God's praise Than when we've first begun. (Repeat)
