To capture their third win of the year with one defeat, A&M hit a red-hot 50 per cent of their shots from the field. The percentages fell slightly in the second half, but still raised the overall shooting average to 34.6. Before going into the Centenary game the Cadets were averaging a little over 31 per cent. For the fourth straight game Carroll Broussard was the high- point man for A&M with 24 points, which is highest for the year. This last addition brought Broussards average to 19.7 for the season. Even though Broussard has the highest average on the team, his shooting percentage is down a lit- tle as he has only hit 38.8 per cent of his shots. Pat Stanley, Don Stanley and Wayne Annett are in quite a race for the second place scoring posi- tion. Pat hit 14 against Centenary to boost his average to 11.2 while brother Don fell to an 11-point av- erage by scoring only seven points. Annetts average stands at 10.5.
