10:00am - 10:10am Career Services - Campus Center BallroomHear about on-campus jobs, internships, and landing a job after graduation.
10:10am - 10:25am Tips for Academic Success - Campus Center BallroomConnect to programs and offices to assist students with academic success.
1:15pm - 1:45pm Health and Safety - Campus Center BallroomHear from Counseling & Accessibility Services, Community Standards, University Police,and Health Services.
10:25am - 10:45am Auxiliary Services - Campus Center BallroomGain an understanding of parking, meal plans, campus dining, laundry services, studentIDs, and other ways to connect to the business of campus.

11:00am - 11:45am Mapping Your Course - Various Locations on CampusStudents and guests will hear from administrators and professors about the academicexpectations of students and how to engage within their college of study.
1:45pm - 2:30pm Navigating Online Platforms - with Orientation LeaderLearn how to navigate all online platforms, including how to log into your email, receivecommunication from your professors, access coursework online, and accept financial aid.
Students and guests will meet with Academic Advisors to review the core curriculum,understand the advising process, and receive their first-semester schedule.

Occasionally check-in and celebrate their progress!3Encourage balance.Let your student know that they don't have to do it all. Encourage them to find abalance among academics and involvement so they do not overcommit.4
