Short Summary

One day Rafe and his best friend Leo decided that they wanted to be noticed at Hills Village Middle School. So, they decided to break all the rules in the Hills Village code of conduct. Leo made this rating system where Rafe can get points for everything he does to break all the rules. This is called Operation R.A.F.E.

This all started because of a girl named Jenna Galleta. Rafe acts like he likes her and he wants to be noticed by her. He thought it would be a good idea to break all the rules to be noticed. The first thing he does to be noticed is that he pulls the fire alarm on the first day of school. The second thing he does to be noticed is that he makes a rhyme in English class that the teacher thought was creative but not school appropriate. Here is the line. “ Your wife is ugly and your daughter too. I think this play is stupid, so guess what? I’m out of here and you can kiss my – “’ Read the rest of the book to find out what else Rafe does to break the school rules and what the consequences are.
