The key requirements are:-

Space for 40+ Exhibitors

An Area to Conduct Seminars

Ample Parking for Exhibitors and Guests

Break Out Areas

Food and Drink Facilities

Good Internet Connectivity

In Cornwall and Scilly we are blessed with much to showcase to the world. Our

scenery, culture and climate makes the region a destination of choice.

Each of our events will be produced from locations and with participants that

showcase even more about the beautiful part of the country we live in. Featuring:-

Food and Drink; Tourism and Marine; Arts and Creative; Manufacturing and

Commercial; Education , Health and Sport; Care and Charity; Along with the

Professional and Business Services Companies and Groups that exist to support

them.

The event venue will receive great promotions as part of the TV show.

Multiple Promotions A Partnership

One Cornwall seeks to promote

events through all of the routes

available to the partner/sponsor

group. This already includes

Television, Radio, Social Media

and Business Networks but with

your help this can grow to be far

stronger and more effective.

Each additional community, or

contact group that can be added to

the promotional network will add to

the attendance and viewing

audience for every participant.

That community or contact group

could be your social media

network, your contacts database

or a business network or group

you are part of.

Promoting Local

Trade Europe Wide

One Cornwall events will help local

people to understand what great

skills, knowledge, products and

services there are available on

their doorstep.

For those with the capacity to grow

and particularly those able to

supply products and services to a

Europe Wide market the TV

exposure takes the opportunity for

all to a new level.

The Board You Can’t Afford

Cornwall and Scilly are heavily

populated with SME and Micro

businesses. Our unique environment,

core industries and location create

some difficult challenges for our

business community, but at the same

time some terrific opportunities.

Every business has needs for

expertise across a range of skill sets

if it is to develop into a robust

organisation, not reliant upon

individuals.

The transition from a micro business

heavily reliant upon individuals, to an

organisation capable of surviving and

thriving through times of personal

challenges is one that many micro/

SME’s struggle with.

Our Cornwall events will demonstrate

that for those in need of support for

business development, the skills

exist. Not only that but they exist

close to your doorstep and are willing

to help.

Through a positive supportive

process “Advisory Boards” can be

created to enable a business to gain

the skills and knowledge they require

to make the transition “The Board

You Can’t Afford”.

Systemisation will often involve

collaborations which open

opportunities for all concerned to

overcome underemployment and

gain access to profitable contracts.

Newquay Airport and Aerohub - Connectivity is Key

Connectivity is Key Living and working on a peninsula whose transport links have

had wholly disproportionate spending by successive

governments (South West £19 per head - South East £792

per head) provides logistical challenges. In order to

overcome those challenges we need to build a reputation for

quality products and a demand for them.

Digital communications (Internet, TV, Radio, Social Media,

Email, Online Meetings) allow us to promote our businesses

to the rest of the world and boost that demand. One Cornwall

aims to help our businesses community take advantage of all

of these essential media, by making them more accessible

and affordable.

Physical connectivity is also essential. One Cornwall aims to

help with this locally through events and nationally by

connecting businesses to the expertise they need to

transport their wares around the world.

Investment in Business

Many great business ideas are hatched every day, but very many do not progress

to generate wealth due to a lack of investment and necessary skills.

An “Investor Ready” business needs to demonstrate that a team is in place

capable of delivering a well structured business plan.

One Cornwall aims to connect businesses people with the ideas and capacity to

grow and generate wealth, to the skills they need to create a winning team

through the “Board You Can’t Afford” process.

Whether you have a great idea, or the skills to help those with an idea, we want to

hear from you.

Working with our media and business partners who all have professional connec-

tions and links to investors and funding solutions across Cornwall and beyond we

can help an “Investor Ready” proposition achieve its goals.
