Signs we’ll have a cold winter:• Animals have thicker coats of hair or fur.• Squirrels build their nests low in trees and gather nuts early.• Ants build their mounds high.• Larger numbers of spiders are seen in the fall.• A heavy crop of berries are found on holly and dogwood trees.• Birds are seen migrating early or huddling on the ground.• Woolly worms have heavy coats and they have a wide black band

The trouble with weather forecasting is that it’s right too often for us to ignore it and wrong too often for us to rely on it. — Patrick Young

All snowflakes have 6 sides.

The tallest snowman was 113 ft 7 in tall. He was named Angus and made in Bethel, Maine in 1999.

An even taller snowwoman was created 9 yrs later in the same town and stood 122 ft 1 in tall.

A whiteout is when a cloud touches the ground and everything looks white.

We have all heard that no two snowflakes are alike. Did you know a scientist took 400,000 to prove it?

If it gets cold enough (single digits or below) ice crystals can form and snow can fall from clear skies.

Antarctica set the record for the world’s coldest temperature at -89.4°C (or -129°F).

The largest snowflake recorded in the Guiness World Book of Records fell in Montana and was 15 inches wide.

The “winter blues” were first diagnosed in 1984 and was recently named seasonal aective disorder or S.A.D. (seriously).

The coldest temperature ever recorded in Toronto was -31°C.

The coldest temperature ever recorded in Canada was -62.8°C in Snag, Yukon.

The largest snowfall in Toronto was in 1937 with a record of 207 cm and an average of 130 cm that year.

Toronto came close to breaking this record in 2009 with an estimated 127 cm of snow.

Hot water freezes faster than cold water.

Icicles form most often on the south sideof buildings.

YOUR WINDOWSCURB APPEALBy Mary Dobson, guest design expert on CityLine. Watch CityLine weekdays at 9am on Citytv.

Here’s one of my pet peeves; a beautiful house with a crazy, random selection of window coverings. You’ve seen houses like this. I call them the “crazy quilt houses”. I’m all for being creative with window coverings and I don’t think every room needs to have the same thing on the windows but there are a few things that you should think about.

A BLIND ON ITS OWN?When is just a blind on the window enough? This is a question I am often asked. How do you know if a lone blind needs to be teamed up with drapes and when does the job look finished? My answer for this is look at the overall style of the room. It makes sense that if you are putting together a minimal, contemporary

space, you’ll want a whole lot less on the window than if you are trying to decorate an elaborate, traditional room. Sometimes, when the space is eclectic, it really is a tough call. I think that if you have a great fabric or outstanding trim around the window, something as simple as a Roman blind can stand alone and look complete. In the case of wood slate horizontal blinds, they can be “jazzed up” with decorative tape down the sides and a weighty wood valance across the top.

CLEANING DOs AND DON’TsWhat’s the rule on cleaning drapes and blinds? Well, rule number one is follow the manufacturers’ advice. If they say dry clean, make sure you do. If they say to wipe with a soft, damp cloth, don’t be tempted to add a cleaning solution. With blinds and shades you might be in jeopardy of voiding your warranty. With drapes and curtains, it can be heartbreak-ing to see the results after cleaning.

There is usually an allowance for shrinkage tolerance of anywhere from 3 to 5%. Doesn’t sound bad, except if your drapes are the stan-dard 96 inch length, you could lose 3 inches of length, or more. The body and drapabilty of the fabric can also suer badly from cleaning. And if the drapes are lined, the outer fabric may not shrink but if the attached lining does, they may need to be remade in order to remove puckers and pulls. My advice is always to avoid cleaning as long as possible. I might vacuum the drapes with a suitable brush at-tachment or take them for a spin on flu in a large drum clothes dryer — no heat please!

• “White to the road” is an old adage in the drapery industry and is also a rule in many condo buildings.

• If you are choosing blinds, opt for a variety that allows you to have colour or pattern facing into the room but has a white backing or lining.

* When it comes to drapes, with very few exceptions, you should always line them. The lining gives more body to the fabric, prevents fading, filters dust and provides that white layer to the street.

This place is called the Distillery Historic District

— a small centuries-old village with cobblestone streets and dozens of wonderfully restored 19th century buildings — representing the larg-est and best preserved Victorian industrial architecture in all of North America.

The Distillery District is a national Historic Site with an incredibly rich history. Once upon a time, it was home to the Gooderham and Worts Distillery and it played an important role in the growth and wealth of both the city and the nation (George Gooderham was the founder of the Bank of Toronto, later becoming TD Bank). By 1871, the Gooderham and Worts Distillery had an annual whiskey and spirits production totaling 2.1 million gallons. Its exporting business shipped millions of gallons to clients as far as South America, and at one point, it was the largest distillery in the world. After 153

years of continuous production, the Gooderham & Worts distillery finally ceases operations in 1990.

After the closing, the distillery had a second life. It turned into the number one film location in Canada and second largest film location outside of Hollywood. Over the years, more than 1700 films have used the site, including Cinderella Man, Chi-cago, and X-Men. In 2001, Cityscape Holdings Inc. purchased the distillery in partnership with Dundee Reality Corp., and they designed a project to restore its more than 40 historic buildings into a pedestrians-only village dedicated to arts, culture and entertainment. In 2003 the Distill-ery District reopened and quickly became one of the city’s top tourist attractions. On site you can now find the Young Centre for Performing Arts, numerous pubs and restaurants, exquisite art galleries and antiques vendors, as well as a weekly farmer’s

market. For more info and a listing of current events visit www.thedistillerydistrict.com.

MILL ST. BREWERYThe favourite spot for most in the Distillery District is the Mill St. Brew Pub and retail store. Mill St. Brewery oËcially opened in December 2002, housed in the original tankhouse of the Gooderham and Worts distillery. Now after 8 years, the small brewery renowned for its handcrafted beer has expanded its operations with a larger facility in Scarborough. The original tankhouse is now home to the Brew Pub, where guests can enjoy a hearty meal and a refresh-ing Mill St. beer, while witnessing the brewmasters hard at work in the brewery experimenting with new batches of brew.

We visited the Mill Street Brew Pub one afternoon; walking into the pub you receive a warm welcome

Page 24: On The Go Magazine March 2012

from the sta, and look around in awe at the amazing historic building, more alive and warm than you could imagine for a Victorian-era tankhouse. The walls are covered with art, some which are very old renditions of beer posters, and some are more recent, designed by local artists. In the middle of the pub is the heart of the operation. Patrons can sit and enjoy a nice cold Mill St. beer while watching the beer making process in action. Our gracious host, co-founder Steve Abrams, took us on a tour and explained the process of making beer — every step from dumping bags of malt into the mill to the up and coming batch of beer going through the brew kettles and fomenters.

Mill St. Brew Pub has a proud family-like atmosphere with its employees. They take pride in their product and it really goes to show when you taste any one of their nu-merous tasty beers. At the brew pub, you can sit down and enjoy some (or all) of the thirteen beers on tap along with a fine meal from the restaurant.

Mill St. Brew Pub and Mill St. Beer have won many awards since their inception. They have been awarded Canadian Brewery of the Year in 2008 and 2009 as well as best brew pub for three consecutive years. The Mill St. Tankhouse Pale Ale has won count-less gold medals and their Belgian Style Wit Beer won a bronze medal in the 2008 World Beer Cup in San Diego. The awards just keep coming.

Mill St. is always experiment-ing and aims to produce a variety of beers to suit every taste, including small batches of seasonal brew. In 2006 Joel Manning, former president of the Canadian Brewing Associa-tion joined the Mill St. crew as head brewmaster and has brought even more credibility and creativity.

Mill St. Brew Pub is a great, energetic place to go for a pint and a fabulous meal or just to watch the crew make their award winning beer. And if anyone is up for the task, you can earn your MBA (Master of Beer Appreciation) and have your name forever immortalized at the brew pub (85 pints later)! Check out their website for special events, and more info at www.millstreetbrewery.com.

Cures for Your HAIRY HOME

so try adding machine-washable decorative throws to protect the couch from hair.

GET YOUR PETS LOVING THEIR BEDS: Laura’s dog Phoenix loves her easy-to-wash white blanket, and Jen’s dogs have washable beds on the main floor, master bedroom and even in the basement. When it’s treat time, they’re told, “On your mat!”, so they love being in their beds.

REMOVE PET HAIR ASAP: Did you know that newly shed hair is easier to remove before it works its way into upholstery fabric? A Tape Roller is one of the best tools for removing hair. But beware when it comes to those sticky rollers you see in infomercials — you have to make a trip over to the sink to rinse the roller after each spin of the roll.

THE FLOORING IN YOUR HOME:We both prefer the look of hardwood and tile floors to carpeting — and the bonus is that it also makes removing pet hair easier! A Swier can pick up

the hair quickly and easily between vacuums. If you’re on the fence about a flooring project, perhaps your hairy carpet will push you over the edge this spring. If you’re shopping for furniture, meanwhile, try to purchase items in leather or other materials that attract less pet hair and are easier to clean. > Our friends at Super Fetch in Bloor West Village, Toronto have supplied us with a Furminator to give away to a lucky reader. To enter the draw, visit us on Facebook! www.facebook.com/mypetnetwork

PROPER GROOMING: Get yourself some good grooming products — a grooming mitt, pin brush, grooming comb and a slicker brush for mats. Cats don’t always love being brushed out, so try a corner comb — it attaches to the corner of a wall that your cat can rub against. Spraying the comb with a little catnip spray will encourage kitty to rub against it. The king of all shedding products is the Furminator. Frequent grooming, as in at least two or three times a week, will help mini-mize the shedding. Daily is ideal in the battle of the hairball. An occasional bath can help with pet hair as well.

ENRICH YOUR PET’S DIET: Diets rich in fatty acids like Omega 3 and Omega 6 promote healthy skin, shiny coats, resulting in far less shedding. Flax, fish oil and eggs = Mega Ome-gas. Find our hairball-fighting dishes such as Super Salmon Supper, Dog Sushi, and Fluy French Omelettes at www.thepetnetwork.tv/fido-wine.

Toddlers leave toys all over the floor, teenagers leave clothes — and pets leave hair. Toddlers and teens grow out of it, but when you have pets you’re sentenced to life with no chance of escaping the fur.

And don’t be fooled by the so-called non-shedding dogs: we’re sorry to tell you there is no such thing. All dogs shed, even the hypoallergenic breeds with hair rather than fur. The amount varies by age, breed and lifestyle. Some cats and dogs shed enough hair to stu a sofa (or even hide a sofa)! Increased daylight and changes in temperature

cause the animal’s body to prepare for the new season. It’s natural for dogs to “blow coat” — think of it as trading in the winter parka for a windbreaker. While we all look forward to longer, warmer days, pet owners dread the Big Shed!

Ready to pull out your own hair? The good news is that you can have a less hairy home by incorporating these suggestions into your routine. And don’t forget the vacuuming. (Sorry, dear readers — there’s just no way to omit the vacuuming part. We’ve tried!)

It’s very easy to go away on a spring vacation and abandon a healthy lifestyle. I encourage vacations, it’s a time to get away, relax, and re-

charge. Vacations are great, but you don’t have to come back home feeling guilty.

The first thing you should do when planning a vacation is research. Whether you are staying in a resort, visiting a friend, etc., go on the internet and see if there is a fitness facility or class where you are staying, or in walking distance. Sign up and pay in advance to ensure you make it there. When all else fails pack a jump rope and start your day o with at least ten minutes of jump roping. It’s important to always get some form of exercise in.

When taking a vacation it’s easy to indulge at every meal. Choose one small meal as an indulgence for the day, the rest of your meals should be healthy options. This way you can still enjoy yourself but you won’t come back ten pounds heavier and you still get the feeling of “letting lose” so to speak.

Drinking is the thing to do on St. Patrick’s Day. Many parties on St. Patrick’s Day start in the day and go until the wee hours of the night. It’s very easy to over-drink which could lead to hangovers, calling in sick to work, or worse … ending up in the hospital. To avoid over drinking:

Know your limit: We all know how many drinks our bodies can handle. Take note of your limit and keep track of every drink you have. A good way to do this is to keep a straw for every drink you con-

sume. If your limit is 3 drinks and you notice you have three straws then you know it’s time to stop.

Drink a lot of water: After every alcoholic bever-age follow with a glass of water. This will help you stay hydrated and keep you full.

Don’t Mix Alcohols: Stick to the same kind of alcohol. An example would be, if you start out with a vodka tonic, only consume vodka for the duration of the party.

I hope March madness finds you all well! Follow these tips for a happy, healthy spring. Remember to enjoy yourself, stay safe, and be healthy!— xoxo Michelle

It’s spring time and with that comes March Madness. The weather is getting warmer, and many of us plan spring trips this time of year … and let’s not forget one of the biggest drinking days of spring, St. Patrick’s Day. Ghione Piccole Gioie Moscato d’Asti 2010 (Piedmont, Italy) Same grape as the Greek wine above but a totally dierent tasting experience. Pale straw in colour with a nose of carnations, oranges and sweet, fresh grapes. Light on the palate (very low alcohol) with a faint prickling on the tongue. The sweetness ameliorated by acidity. Like biting into a sweet grape. ****½ (89) Food match: aperitif wine or strawberry shortcake. $15.95 • LCBO #1923443

Limnos Winery Muscat of Limnos 2010 (Greece)Bold enough to stand up to those chocolate Easter eggs. Wines don’t come much sweeter than this. Pale lemon colour with an unctuous, oily nose of sweet Muscat grapes; thick on the palate with perfumed orange and honey flavours. Great value. **** (88). Food match: pour over ice cream or with blue cheese. $13.95 • Vintages #268029

Cuore Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2008 (Abruzzo, Italy) Don’t confuse the Montepulciano grape with the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano produced from Sangiovese in Tuscany. It’s more on the rustic side. Dense purple-black in colour, it has an earthy, blackcurrant nose and a chunky mouth feel. There’s good concentration of black fruit flavours here and an intriguing spicy note. Terrific value. ****½ (89) Food match: spaghetti puttanesca or fresh parmesan cheese. $14.95 • Vintages #230631

Albino Armani Egle Ripasso Valpolicella Superiore 2008 (Veneto, Italy)Albino and Egle Armani have fashioned a Valpolicello on the less of their Amarone production to give the wine greater concentration of flavour. Deep ruby in colour, the wine has a spicy cherry nose backed by vanilla oak. The flavour is dry and elegant with a thread of ripe, supple tannins to give it structure. Another good value wine. **** (88) Food match: pasta dishes or charcuterie. $15.95 • LCBO #247916

Tenute Loacker Corte Pavone Brunello di Montalcino 2005 (Tuscany, Italy) Yes, it’s costly but once in a while you’ve got to spoil yourself and taste a wine at the top of its game. Dense purple ruby in colour, it oers an elegant nose of blackberries and spice. Medium- to full-bodied on the palate it has that firm, dry, majestic flavour of mature Sangiovese. ***** (91) Food match: osso buco or veal chop. $49.95 • Vintages # 237263

Riva dei Frati Prosseco Superiore Valdobbiadene (Veneto, Italy) If champagne is stretching your budget too far, try Prosecco. This particular sparkler is pale straw in colour with an active mousse (bubbles). The nose oers chalky-mineral notes with pear and citrus zest. Just a touch of residual sugar gives the wine a roundness of the palate to complement the fruit flavours. **** (87) Food match: aperitif wine or grilled calamari. $18.95 • Vintages #234732

Irish Ale CocktailWhiskey and ginger beer are a natural pairing. Whiskey provides a basic sweetness that cuts through the spiciness of good ginger beer. The Irish Ale Cocktail is a variation of a common cocktail, the whiskey & ginger. Adding a few squeezes of lime provides just enough acid to help marry the sweet and spicy notes in this cocktail. If you don’t like the spiciness of ginger beer, you can make this cocktail milder by substituting ginger ale. Try this one at home or on your next evening out.Ingredients:· 2 oz Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey· 3 lime wedges· 3 oz ginger beerPreparation:1. In a highball glass, addwhiskey and squeeze lime wedges into glass.2. Fill with ice, top with ginger beer and stir to incorporate.

Irish CoffeeTullamore Dew was the original Irish whiskey used in the first ever Irish Coee. The inspired bartender Joe Sheridan created his legendary drink in 1942. Unchanged as a recipe today, Irish Coee is a sublime balance of coee, Tullamore Dew, Irish Mist, sugar & whipped cream ... and it is more popular than ever before!Ingredients & Directions• Fill an Irish coffee glass with very hot water to pre-heat then empty.• Pour hot coffee into hot glass until it is about ¾ full.• Drop in 2 cocktail sugar cubes; stir until sugar is thoroughly dissolved.• Add 1 oz. of Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey for proper taste and body.• Add ½ oz. Irish Mist Liqueur.• Top with a collar of lightly whipped cream by pouring gently over a spoon.Enjoy it while piping hot..

HAVE KEY DOCUMENTS WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES• When travelling outside of the country there are papers that Canadian vacationers should not leave home without.• A valid passport is needed for all travellers, including children and infants, with limited exceptions for children under 16 crossing at land border points;• Additionally, Canadian children need appropriate documentation to travel abroad when taking a trip alone or with only one parent, such as a consent letter, birth certificate or citizenship card. Check destination requirements before departing.• If travelling outside your home province, carry provincial health cards and drivers licenses.• Travellers should also carry their insurance wallet card to call for assistance at any time.More >

Preparation is the key to a having an enjoyable spring vacation. Whether novice or seasoned, most travellers know to pack the right attire, cancel the newspaper and set the house alarm before they leave. However, in the busy planning process, the same travellers will often overlook some important elements to help ensure a stress free vacation.

RSA, a leading travel insurer, encourages Canadians to keep the following tips in mind when they travel for March Break:

PUT YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY FIRSTTravellers should always put their health and well-being first. Vacations are a break from routine but not from sensible practices. Whether travelling by air or car, you should:• Confirm well in advance if any inoculations or medications are needed before visiting the destination;• Check for government issued travel advisories for the country or region you are planning to visit;• Carry sufficient prescription medication and allergy treatments in your carry-on luggage;• If driving, check weather and road conditions and listen to local advisories; and• Share travel and destination information with loved ones in the event an emergency arises.

An old adage is that wherever you are going on vacation, take twice the money and half the luggage. While it may not be a bad starting point, there’s a whole lot more to good vacation planning.

SPEED UP YOUR TIME IN THE AIRPORT SECURITY LINEIf you would rather wait to board of your flight in an airport coee shop, or lounge — rather than in a long line at the security checkpoints — you are not alone. With this in mind, the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) is giving travellers some valuable suggestions to increase the speed of screening:

• Liquids, aerosols, creams, gels or other personal toiletries that are packed in carry-on baggage must be in containers of 100 mL (3.4 oz) or less and placed in a clear, resealable, 1L plastic bag. This includes any water, suntan lotion, creams or perfume. Baby formula, food, juice and other baby items are exempt from the carry-on rule for infants aged 0-24 months.

• Laptops must be placed in the tray at security checkpoints while electronic items such as cell phones, MP3 devices and portable DVD players can remain in your carry-on baggage.

• Prescription medication in liquid form is exempt from 100 ml carry-on restrictions, provided the container is clearly labeled and displays the name matching the passenger’s boarding pass.

• Skis, golf clubs and other sport equipment must be checked in with the airline.

• Passengers with Nexus card, families and travellers with special needs can use dedicated security lines. – www.newscanada.com

Before you start packing, make a list of everything you will need. A good thing to keep in mind when making your list is

to start with the items you are prone to forget. A few common items people forget when traveling are cellphone chargers and other necessary device chargers, glasses or contact lens cases, shaving cream and razors, bathing suits, and even passports. If you require any medications make sure it is one of the first things you pack and put it in a secure pocket on the inside of your suit case. If you are a woman, consider bringing tampons and pads with you. Wherever you’re going may not have your preferred brand.

When packing clothes, consider how many days and nights you are going and what the weather will be like as well as what activities you’ll be doing. If

you are going somewhere hot, you’ll want to bring light clothes such as t-shirts and shorts or skirts, but remember to also pack a pair of long pants and a sweater in case it gets cooler at night.

When packing for a trip, minimal is key. That way you can keep track of what you have when packing to return home, plus you’ll have room for souvenirs. Consider wearing certain clothes more than once to save room, and remember many hotels supply a number of necessities.

When packing toiletries, it is a good idea to seal liquid items in plastic bags in case they leak in your suitcase. You don’t want to arrive at your destination to find all of your clothes are covered in hand lotion or shampoo.

For more guidelines on what to bring for your trip, research where you are going and ask friends or family who have traveled there.

March break, Spring break, Mid-Winter break, or whatever you want to call it… it’s just around the corner! Parents, be

prepared; the week of March 12th – March 16th, 2012 the schools will be emptied and the kids will be looking for something to do!

If my parents hadn’t escaped the unpredictable March weather, with me in tow, they had to scramble to find something for me do — something that would keep me entertained and more importantly, out of trouble. This wasn’t always an easy task. If you haven’t already booked your family vacation, here are a few fun family events happening locally (and regionally) that will keep you and the kids entertained.

March Break at the Toronto ZooGrab a hot chocolate and enjoy year-round family events like daily Keeper talks. Get out of the cold and into a warm tropical pavilion and experience the animals up close and personal.

March Break at the AGOThere are a few March break options happening at the Art Gallery of Ontario. There’s Drop in Family Fun where you can explore the galleries, take a family friendly tour, and experience the hands-on centre. AGO will also be hosting a March Break Art Camp at the Weston Family Learning Centre, Monday March 12th – March 16th, 2012. The gallery is open and full of inspiration for young artists. Taught by experienced artist-instructors the camps are designed to develop technical skills, build confidence and open up the imagination.

Whether you want to relax at the spa, get the adrenaline pumping on the slopes, or spend some time in the energetic Village, Blue Mountain has it all. Pepsi March Break Madness will be in full-force with a great line up of family activities on and o the mountain. Enjoy skating, toboggan tours, snowshoeing, snowmobile tours, ice fishing, sleigh rides, spa treatments and so much more. Blue Mountain is a great March Break destination for the family.

Horseshoe ResortOne hour north of Toronto, Horseshoe Valley has 26 alpine ski and snowboard runs, Nordic trails for cross-country skiing, four restaurants, Shizen Spa and Salon, snow tubing and tons of great times.

September 23 – October 22: Do you feel like a bundle of energy? You’re going to need space and activity in order to feel good. To help you expend some of this energy you will need to exercise! Eat healthy while you fall into an exercise routine and you will feel better than you ever have before. Stay away from unnecessary hazards or confrontation.

March 21 – April 19: It doesn’t matter if the past was good, bad or ugly; most people are attached to it in one way or another. If you find that the past is influencing your life directly or indirectly you do not have to worry anymore. In March you’ll be able to break free of its hold on you. Be prepared, because a distant friend may come back to stay.

April 20 – May 20: With a sudden realization of your dreams, the time has come to rebuild your ideologies. Your imagination is endless and you can do anything you would like with your life. Make it as great as possible. Now is a great time to spend more quality time with your partner or a loved one. Reignite the spark that may be fading.

October 23 – November 22: You desire some recognition for all of your eorts and you have the ability of creativity to allow you to make your desires come true. Try being more sociable and friendlier than usual. This will allow people to get to know you better and appreciate your ideas and goals. There are pleasant surprises in store for you!

December 21 – January 20: You sometimes require companionship more than others. Do not be afraid to surround yourself with friends and loved ones. Don’t worry about appearing clingy, concentrate on your happiness and love for those around you. Instead of becoming withdrawn and quiet, try being more social when attending gatherings or functions.

June 22 – July 23: Your forecast is directed towards your career during March. You’ll need to focus on your leadership skills, point of view, independence, character and mental power. You could be travelling more than usual for work and conducting seminars, workshops and conferences. During this adventure you will find out if this is your true calling or not.

January 21 – February 19: You may run into some conflicts with your partner or a close friend. Do not be afraid to ask for advice and try to be creative when resolving an issue. Keep an open mind and listen to their reasoning to help things move along faster. Once you show a more sensitive side to your personality your friends will flock to your side. Try to look on the brighter side of things!

July 24 – August 23: Try not to be so possessive when it comes to your friends or a partner. The growth of love and companionship should be filled with happiness and joy, not tension and concern. Love can be a huge responsibility so treat it with care and respect. If you find it becomes too much, participate in a fun, carefree activity together and everything will work out for the best.

February 20 – March 20: This is the end of a low point in your life and now you will begin to put the pieces of your life together. Everything will get better from here on out; you just need to keep your chin up. Address the personal issues in your life in order to free yourself from the negative energy faster. Relationships may have been broken, but never let that stop you.

August 24 – September 22: Routine has become boring. You may be looking for a change whether it comes within your career, love life or your life in general. People constantly telling you what to do becomes very irritating after a while. This may be the perfect moment to take some time for yourself. Venture out of your comfort zone and your life will be more interesting!

November 23 – December 20: Being very optimistic can sometimes hurt rather than help. Your level optimism may cause you to miscalculate, overlook and exaggerate the road to success. The list of responsibilities can become problematic because you are disconnected and have no interest in them. It may help if you try a dierent approach.

May 21 – June 21: Marital or relationship issues; that will be the focus for you during March. You must remember to keep calm and maintain patience otherwise this could take a turn for the worst. Change is very important, but you must learn to stay in one place for an appropriate amount of time. Allow yourself to grow with your partner or loved one.
