The Faculty of Health SciencesThe Faculty of Health Sciences• The Faculty of Health Sciences is one of the youngest and most
dynamic faculties of the University of Pécs, implementing education in four different towns in 1990.
• The College became an independent faculty in 1995.
• With the institutional integration process (1st of January 2000) the Faculty has become part of the University of Pécs.
• The independent doctoral school was established in 2005 enabling
paramedical professionals to obtain a doctoral (PhD) degree.
• Establishing further university degree subjects are underway.
• On the 1st of March 2006. become a university faculty.– First MSc education in Nursing and Health Visiting in Hungary

Scientific Students’ CircleScientific Students’ Circle
Students interested in doing scientific research are helpedand organised by the Scientific Student’ Circle, the
members ofwhich join ongoing research and learn the research
techniquesthereby. Results of their research are subsequently
published andperformed as lectures at conferences.
A Scientefic Students’ Circle conference is organised annually at our
college and our students have also been successful at the National
Student Circle Conference as well.
Students’ FederationStudents’ Federation
The role of the Students’ Self Goverment is to represent and protect
the rights and interest of student groups and individuals alike at all
forums where it is of utmost importance to have the rights, interest
and opinon of groups and communities represented.
Besides the above the Students’ Self-Goverment is responsible for
organising student life, supporting and coordinating students’
initiatives as far as the availability of sources allows.
