The burning bush, the brazen altar of the tabernacle, Mount Carmel, and His Pentecost people. It will see the need and the value of earnestly seeking God with the whole heart. 1 Corinthians 7:5 That ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; Reward is promised. Matthew 6:17-18 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. Here are some examples: Moses received the Ten Commandments (Exodus 34:28). Elijah received direction from the Lord (1 Kings 19:8). Hezekiah received healing for his body. On October 4th, PCCS students and staff enjoyed a field trip to Camp Inlow in Philadelphia, MO. A study of the history of the camp was shared by Bro. Frank “An increasingly significant ministry of Bethel Baptist Association is provided through Camp Inlow near Philadelphia, Missouri. A beautiful 27.6 acre site, was donated in 1945. Camping began in 1946. Through the nearly 74 years of ministry, the vision has remained, and many people come to know Christ every year through camp. Camp Inlow minis-ters to many associations and charity groups who come for summer resident camps. In addition, the churches use the facilities for swimming, parties, picnics, retreats, and other outings. Families of the churches use the camp for recreation. Each year, over 7,000 people-day use of the camp is now recorded. God has provided, through Camp Inlow, one of the finest church camps and church recreational facilities in the state of Missouri. Everyone went on a guided tour of the camp. Many individuals shared their testimonies. Afterwards the students went fishing in the famous Camp Inlow fishing pond. For lunch, pizza, water, soda, and desserts were served. A big thank you to everyone who makes Camp Inlow possible. Students at PCCS are looking forward to attending camp in 2020.
