ON-CALL PLANNER'S RESPONSIBILITIESGENERAL: Planner who is
on-call, should be available 24 x 7 in Jubail during the period
mentioned in the on-call schedule. On receiving the call from an of
the maintenance crew, should come to the plant immediatel. Planner
has no responsibilit of calling the store house personal who is
on-call. !hisshould be done b the "!#$ crew.ISSUING PICK-LIST:
%irst to chec& the availabilit of the material in the
warehouse. 'f that material is alread reserved b a planner and
there is no su(cient )uantit, on-call planner should call the
planner who had reserved the material and inform him that he is
going to cancel the reservation and issuing for the current order.
'f there is no issues, then on-call planner should cancel the
reservation and issue the pic&-list. *ext step is to reserve
the material for the other planner+s re)uirement. 'f there is issue
for cancelling the reservation, then shift superintendent to be
consulted to solve this issue. 'f there is no order, planner has to
create an order thru the noti,cation and issue the material. 'f the
stoc& is -$.O, then specialist to be called and as& for the
alternative. Planner shall wait till the material has been issued
and acceptance of the maintenance. 'n case of wrong material in the
location, specialist to be called and as& for the alternative.
'f it is a reall an emergenc re)uirement and that material is not
available in /$"01 warehouse, then material to be chec&ed for
availabilit in other a(liates thru .1"'2. 'n this case, ""
expeditor to be called and expeditor to get the material from
othera(liates. %or issuing pic&-list, approval authorit to be
followed.SHUT-DOWN ACTIVITIES: 'f case of 23, on-call planner will
be the planner of the 23 activities, for an /$"01 plant. 1ll
planning shut activities to be extracted from active shut down list
and to be provided to "!#$ crew. 'n the re)uirement of third part
services, third part coordinator to be called and organi4e for the
third part services. 'n brief, on-call planner will be the planner
for all the shut down activities till the area planner ta&es
charge in the morning. 'n extreme case, if the on-call planner
re)uires the support of the area planner, then the area planner to
be called and get the information that he re)uires.
