Objectives:At the end of this symposium the learner will be able
to:
1. Verbalize evidence base protocols and outcomes
measures related to early mobility in the ICU2. Identify and
discuss latest trends in Enteral Feeding for
acutely ill patients
3. Articulate AHA recommendations for hypothermia poststroke
4. Discuss the role of the RN in the implementation of
evidence base protocols of hypothermia post stroke5. Obtain
skills to implement Quality Management
programs that yield positive outcomes
6. Participate in interactive case study analysis for
selectedscenarios
7. Become familiar with a model of transforming practice in
the ICU: Relationship Based Care
