OmniView can seamlessly integrate various types of multimedia such as live broadcast and external broadcast video, advertising and promotions, digital menus, and web content. All of these can be offered in a unique playlist for displays of all sizes throughout the venue.

Using the API integration feature via the OmniView web interface, you can send signals to displays, LED boards, or any other system with external control. External systems can also integrate with API to control OmniView for special actions and / or change content on managed television displays or even turn off all displays, providing external control.

OmniView Modules

OmniView is accessed through a web portal that serves as a management interface for channels, uploading content and scheduling before playing content on displays. OmniView server is a focal point for live or scheduled content playback using standard web technologies, allowing you to create and deliver a dynamic, ever-changing experience for your audience.

Library

All types of digital assets are uploaded and stored in a library for use in campaigns and playlists and can be played on a specific display or group of displays. Asset types include images, videos, widgets, channels, menu boards, apps and external content.

Playlists are assets that can be played in a particular sequence and are created using campaigns and content feature for any display with any type of scheduling setup.

Remote Control

The Remote control provides an easy-to-use interface for controlling IPTV display channel, placing resources to displays. Certain scenarios can be run manually in a real environment or on a schedule in a periodic environment.

Scheduler (Campaigns & Playlists)

The Campaigns & Playlists panel provides a scheduling feature that allows you to perform the following tasks:

Device control

Manage and monitor your devices and entire network of displays using powerful hardware control features. Centralized monitoring of individual devices in a room provides the device management functionality. This allows the administrator to view the content that is currently playing on a specific device without having to move to a physical location and view it firsthand. Device Management also provides general summary information, the ability to power the connected TV display, and channel management features to change the streaming or external content of a URL channel.

Schedule content to play on specific day or part of the day.

Schedule content to trigger on specific day and time in a specific zone.

Changing display/s look and feel using associated content.

Menu Board The Menu Board feature provides the ability to create custom dynamic menus that can be quickly updated to reflect changes in price or product availability. In addition to prices, these menu boards can include attractive animations and tempting videos about food and drink offers and any related promotions as well as the ability to integrate the menu to any POS API.

TV Operator

With hundreds or even thousands of television displays in UCView Digital Signage deployments it is important that all televisions are turned off when not in use. The OmniView TV Operator feature allows an operator or API to manage power for all TVs in one or more zones or in an entire room.

Software management

The software management feature provides a single interface for managing OmniView software.

Role Based Access Control - User

Behind every successful deployment of UCView Digital Signage are groups of people who have specific responsibilities related to content management and events. Roles are typically performed by UCView partners and customer personnel. OmniView supports role-based access control with Active Directory (LDAP) integration which limits the screens and applications available to different groups. Digital Signage UCView administrators can assign credentials to log in as users under different roles.

This ensures that everyone has access or visibility only to those parts of the system for which they are trained and authorized to manage

Phone Tablet as Remote Control - Suite

As a rule, televisions that are located throughout the building and in "public" areas are controlled centrally through OmniView. However, televisions located in other places, such as suites, restaurants, clubs and bars, back offices and boxes, require local control. With OmniView, guests can control the channel, VOD, volume, input, and more using a TV remote control or App for android or IPhone.
