Present the 6th District-adopted Hooks Resolution to the NC & SC State Conference of Branches of the NAACP.

• The Mighty Sixth has adopted an historic document outlining our commitment to our Founders’ ideals for civil rights and equality

• The Hooks Resolution clearly defines action items about how each Omega chapter can support the NAACP and help secure freedom for all Americans.

• The Hooks Resolution will spur activity from other Greeks to join Omega in helping to move the South and America forward.

• Ensure each financial member of the Mighty Sixth votes in upcoming primary and general elections.

• Each chapter should set goals for how many people they can register and take to the polls. All chapters will make report of their results to the District after each election.

• Coordinate our GOTV (Get Out The Vote) efforts with 6th District Political Action Committee.

• Invite Rev. Dr. William Barber, President of the NC State Conference of Branches of the NAACP, to speak at our December Council Committee Meeting and lead us in a GOTV training for all participants. Open this meeting to the public, thereby securing Omega’s leadership in 2012 elections.
