Weights for Women I
“ I’ve been a member for some years, but I’d never tried using the weights because I didn’t know how. I saw that Kim taught a “Weights for Women” class and signed up. The class has helped me to continue to lose weight – it is a wonderful class and Kim always helps anytime I have a question.” –Sandra
What’s an activity that can help women stay strong, burn calories, and build healthy bones? Strength training! If you are new to strength training, a great place to start is our introductory Weights for Women class. Our experienced instructor will teach you how to use free weights with proper form, work all major muscle groups and familiarize your-self with weight room etiquette.

Lifeguard TrainingDo you enjoy helping others? Want to earn money doing a fun job? Lifeguarding may be for you! Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice, you’ll learn the skills needed to work as a professional lifeguard: team-work, First Aid and CPR/AED, rescue and surveillance skills. Successful completion results in a 2-year American Red Cross Lifeguard certification (includes first aid and professional-level CPR and AED certifi-cation). Does your family enjoy fun mixed with a little healthy competition? Then join us in the pool for water games and prizes! Ring toss, relays, wiggle bridge and splash contests are just a few of the games that might be played throughout the day – participants, you decide! Each hour you’ll vote on what competition to do next.
Toddler TuesdaysEvery Tuesday 9:30am-Noon
Play in the gym using our fun balls and scoot-ers (and, on occasion, our small bouncy house!) or at 10:30 enjoy the pool, with toddler-friendly water features and a pint-sized slide. Pack swimsuits, towels, and a swim diaper for children not potty trained. » Cost: for Members & their Toddlers, Non-members pay a $4 activity fee for their Toddler (age 9 mo to 4 yrs) and the attending parent is FREE.
Inflatable FridaysEvery Friday • 4-7:30pm
for Members Non-members: included in day pass
Enjoy a fun night in the pool with inflatable toys ranging from friendly marine animals to super-sized games! Toys change out periodically; stop in to see what’s new!
Kidz Kayak RacingEvery Saturday • 2-4pm
for Members Non-members: included in day pass Test your skills and speed...in a kayak! You don’t know how to kayak? No problem, we’ll provide some instruction, then it’s off to the races! This is a great way to introduce kids to recreational kayaking while enjoying some fun ‘n friendly competition!!! For youth ages 8 to 12; must first pass a swim test to participate.

The last 15 minutes of each hour Kroc Lifeguards will go over Water Safety Skills and American Red Cross Longfel-low’s Whale Tales. Kids that participate will receive a color-ing sheet, a temporary tattoo and a certificate of participa-tion. Watch for Lifeguard “Splash Mobs” on Safety Saturdays, too!!

Hurry to register since space is limited! To participate in pool time activities, have your child ready to swim when they arrive; with a swimsuit on under their street clothes. Bring a towel, too.

Adult Bible Study 9:30amAll of us have important questions about faith, God and how to make good choices. Studying the scripture in a small group helps us discover what God invites us to be, do and change in order to be healthy in body, mind and soul.
Sunday School Classes 9:30amStart your morning off by singing songs, memorizing Bible verses, and working as a team to learn the books of the Bible. Sunday School classes for preschoolers, elementary agers and Jr./Sr. High Schoolers available.
Family Fellowship 10:15amThere is no better way to get to know someone than to share a meal. Each week, Kroc Church members and visitors enjoy a simple breakfast and good company. We hope to see you soon!
Worship 11amAll are welcome at Worship - come with questions or with faith. Complimentary childcare is provided during Sunday Worship for infants and children up to 5 years of age. Children in Kindergarten and older are encouraged to sit with parents in worship and then join in for Jr. Church - an age-appropriate, Bible-based lesson.

The Kroc Church children’s ministry team aims to partner with parents to help their children build a solid
foundation for a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. Tuesday nights we focus on fun, friendships, earning badges and exploring each child’s God-given talents through “Youth Alive” activites. These activities are not only fun but they also help to educate and build character. Anyone in Preschool through 12th Grade is welcome, and there’s even a COMPLIMENTARY DINNER for the WHOLE FAMILY to enjoy together. Please register through the Kroc Center Welcome Desk, 402-905-3500. Men’s Fellowship Club 7pm With an emphasis on service, evangelism and fellowship, the Men’s Fellowship Club allows men to live out their faith in practical ways. This group provides valuable service to the Kroc Church and Kroc Commu-nity while providing relational ministry to each other. Activities include Bible Study, Worship, Friendly Competition and Group Service Projects.
Women’s Ministry 7pm The Salvation Army Women’s Ministries encompass various opportuni-ties for all women where they are valued, encouraged, equipped, and invited to catch the joy through Christian faith and fellowship.
Our mission is to provide opportunity to win women for Christ, and assist in their spiritual growth, nurturing and awareness of the needs of the family, the community, the nation and the world. Women, ages 14 and up, welcome.

La Iglesia del Kroc Center ofrece Escuela Dominical y clases de Educación Cristiana a las 9:30am cada Domingo antes del culto para ambos jóvenes y adultos.
Ministerio significa “servicio” que es el ideal para todos los cristianos, que es la imagen de Cristo como siervo (Filipenses 2:5-7; Marcos 10:45) se extendió a los cristianos como iglesia en su conjunto.
Tomando en cuenta esto hemos comenzado hace dos meses todos los días lunes “Estudio Bíblico en Español” en donde aprendemos de una manera más específica, minuciosa y clara de lo que es creer por Fe en este Dios tan maravilloso y lleno de amor. Otra actividad que se ha ido realizando en los días domingos, es la “Escuela dominical” en donde hablamos diversos temas para la familia en su totalidad.
Se está en planeamiento el iniciar “curso de discipulado” y “reuniones de alabanza y adoración en español”, proyectos a mediano plazo que nos otorgarán vivir momentos gratos compartiendo los unos con los otros y será una forma para que nuevas personas puedan también llegar a conocer a quien nos dio la vida.
Tú puedes ser parte de todo esto, estamos preparando la tierra porque sabemos y creemos que Dios muy prontamente dará la cosecha y quizás sería bueno que veas de como Dios nos va a sorprender.
