Protection for those in the armed forces:

Gabe Kapanke

2 Samuel 22:3-4 The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. He is my refuge, my savior, the one who saves me from violence. I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. Psalm 7:1 I come to you for protection, O Lord my God. Save me from my persecutors—rescue me! Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? Proverbs 2:7b-8 He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. He guards the paths of the just and pro-tects those who are faithful to him.

Those seeking guidance & strength:

Isaiah 30:21 Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own un-

derstanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 16:3,9 Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me whole-heartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord.
