Pyridine derivativesR 0380 Olefination of 3-Diazopiperidin-2-one. — Novel reaction conditions are developed

for the MeReO3-catalyzed olefination of unreactive diazo compounds such as 3-diazo-piperidin-2-one (I) with aromatic, heteroaromatic and aliphatic aldehydes.
