FROM OUR PASTOR

Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly re-gard others as more important than yourselves, each looking out not for his own interests, but also for those of others. NOTICES

Did you know? Words can be warn-ing signs of abuse. Many children will be learning in their own homes this fall, but that does not mean they will be fully protected from abuse. Sadly, most children are abused by someone considered to be a “known and trusted” person – that person may be a family member – even someone living in the same house as the child. Pay attention to the conversations your children are having, as words can be indicators that a child is being groomed or harmed. If your child or their friend(s) seem to “know” more about sexual topics than would be expected for their age, or seems unu-sually focused on such topics, it could be an indicator that something inap-propriate and harmful is happen-ing. Talk to your child about it, reas-suring them that it is both important and safe to tell you what is happen-ing. For more information on this topic, visit https://lacatholics.org/did-you-know/.

LECTURAS DE HOY

Mateo 21:28-32

NOTICIAS
