Far The asperhic overlapping of the progressive surface has an increase in the focal power in the far as a result. The reduction of the power, which is caused by the oblique astigmatism, overlays the power increase that it results in a large distance field free of aberrations.
NearIn the near area the power decreases through aspheric overlaying and oblique astigmatism. This leads to a very small near field of vision.
=> In order to also offer strong hyperopic people a sufficiently big near field of vision, the ImpressionILT Hyperop has been developed.

1. Product details
Due to the strongly bent front surface and the high center thickness, for ImpressionILT Hyperop in higher plus ranges the concave measuring value for the addition is higher than the ordered value. This ensures, however, that the addition in the position of wear shows the determined value during the refraction.

3. General hints for ordering
– mixed order of both product types (ImpressionILT and ImpressionILT Hyperop) are possible, eg with high anisometropia, however we recommend the ordering of a matching pair.
– MDM is included in the price of Impression ILT Hyperop and XS.The product can be pinned normally, MDM if desired has to be pinned separately.
– It is generally advantageous to order the lens with all individual parameters along with the frame and centring data, so that the real tilting of the lens in front of the eye can be taken into account.

6. Complaints
– Measuring of powers on the focimeter is not always possible due to the high prisms (up to 18cm/m) and the colour dispersion given in the near reference point. This is particularly the case with normal progression zone lengths and orders at the limits of the power range.
In the case of complaints, please send the lenses to Mrs. Katrin Nicke in Munich, as there and in the production the especially equipped measuring instrument SPV1.
– ILT Hyperop has very flat rear surfaces, in order to keep the height of the lens as low as possible. => possibility of disturbing back surface reflections.

7. „Expandable delivery“
– it is not possible to enlarge the range of power over +13.0dpt and under +6.0dpt. In contrast to other products, sph 0 cyl 6 is available (see diagram)

8. Recommendation:
In the overlapping area of „normal“ ImpressionILT and ImpressionILT Hyperop, we recommend the ILT Hyperop due to the strong emphasis on the field of vision.
