Portfolio Update

• Three types of trainings are being offered:– Performance Level Descriptors (PLD) and
Assistive Technology– OAAP Portfolio Administration Manual – OAAP Portfolio Electronic Submission
OAAP Portfolio Trainings
• Seven trainings offered around the state completed in October and November.

Performance Level Descriptors and Assistive Technology
• Wednesday, November 30, 2011 Tulsa Technology Center Lemley Campus

OAAP Portfolio Administration Manual Training
• Five Videoconferences will be available– Friday, January 13, 2012– Tuesday, January 17, 2012– Wednesday, January 25, 2012– Wednesday, February 8, 2012– Thursday, February 23, 2012
OAAP Portfolio Administration Manual Training
• Trainings will be available in February 2012.– Trainings will be offered via live trainings,
videoconferences, and through PearsonAccess.
• Trainings will provide information for the uploading process as well as training on the use of technology.– How to scan a document– How to retrieve pictures from a camera– How to upload a document
OAAP Portfolio Electronic Submission Training
• All trainings and materials will be posted to the Web site.– If teachers are unable to attend a training they
can view the training on our Web site (the training for the PLD/Assistive Technology and OAAP Portfolio Administration Manual has been combined and will be available online after editing).
– Pearson will provide the training for the electronic submission.
OAAP Portfolio Trainings
• Portfolio submission will be available online April through May 11, 2012.
• All portfolios will be submitted electronically through PearsonAccess.
• Access to PearsonAccess will be provided to teachers through your district test coordinator.– Directors will be able to view all students identified
on a portfolio and the progress of their portfolio.– PearsonAccess will identify what pieces of evidence
have been uploaded successfully at the teacher and director level.
PearsonAccess
• There are more video components required.
• A video can be submitted for any piece of evidence .
• Electronic submission.
• Task specifications and rubrics have been clarified.– New content has not been added only clarifications.
• Portfolios will not be scored by teachers in Oklahoma.
• A standard setting will be required.
