Production capacity Site territory occupies an area of 2,5 hectares
in the industrial district of the central part of Kaliningrad at
the following address: 41, Portovaya street. OGSB is a resident of
Special Economic Zone which gives certain preferences for business
development.

combination of instruments, indicator gages, data processing system
and process equipment.
OGSB fabricates complete Oil Quantity and Quality Measuring
Systems, that may include the following

unit– mechanical displacement meter prover; Standard Calibration
Rig; Data Processing System; Process piping.

One of the main production lines of OGSB is Mechanical displacement
meter provers with capacity from 100 to 4000 m³/hour (ANSI 150 –
ANSI 900).
Mechanical Displacement Meter Prover is a mechanical device used to
calibrate the accuracy and performance of different types of flow
transducers by multiple transferring of definite fluid
volume.
Mechanical Displacement Meter Prover is a complete technological
unit that consists of a calibrated section, loading and receiving
chambers(launch chambers), oil flow direction switching unit,
piston detector switches, draining pipeline, washing and air
removal systems connection devices, pressure and temperature
measuring gauges. The process unit is mounted on the metal base.
Launch chambers are made of pipe sections of a bigger diameter than
calibrated section. They could be located in vertical or angular
position depending on the prover design. The sphere passes one
chamber and enters the calibrated section. After passing the
calibrated section the sphere reaches the other chamber and remains
there upstream until the flow is diverted backwards. Then the
sphere moves along the calibrated section changing the direction of
the movement. Detector switches “cut” the specified calibrated
section volume when the sphere passes through them.
Bidirectional meter prover employs sphere run both ways as a
calibrated section volume. Thus detector actuation error is reduced
in order to increase the measurements accuracy. Prover is equipped
with pressure and temperature transducers, pressure gages and glass
thermometer at the inlet and outlet of the prover to correct the
calibrated section volume by pressure and temperature of the
medium.
The Company can provide heat insulation with stainless steel
housing optionally. The Company can also manufacture mobile type
Mechanical Displacement Meter Prover mounted on special
tilt-covered trailer.

Straight Calibrated Section prover(SCS)
Advantages: reduction of pressure drop through the prover; increase
of flow rate stability; provision of better repeatability and
overall readings accuracy improvement; increase of service life of
pipe epoxy coating; decrease of the sphere wear; less complicated
prover design; omission of onsite recalibration necessity due to
the undismountable calibrated section design.

Main difference: Metering is performed when the sphere passes
along
the straight calibrated section consequently there lacks additional
resistance imposed by the sphere movement along the curved section
employed by standard configuration provers.
