Future Is Ours…
If MAPNA was once a household name in the power industry,
it is now known in all energy fields. It has been more than ten
years that we have been active in oil & gas industry as well,
and through these years it has successfully accomplished
several major projects with international-level standards,
with many other projects under operation.
Such an increasing rate of development during this short
period of time would have never become true without hard
work and collective knowledge-based spirit prevalent in
MAPNA. Responding to customers’ needs through the full
goods-services continuum, construction, investment,
service, implementation, and development, along with a real
unique human capital, together enable us to play our role in
advancement of our goals relying on professional ethics.
Moreover, extensive presence in capital markets, high
capability in defining and managing projects plus attractive
contracts in forms of BOT, BOO, EPCF, buyback and other EPC
contracts that require contractors’ particular financial
capabilities, have given us a new distinct power in the
advancement of national development goals and have
turned us into an authoritative reference in value chain of
energy industry.

Quality
The Final Word
We are proud to have reached the highest standards of quality
in manufacturing and offering products and services in less
than ten years. Relying on a customer-orientated approach, we
are always trying to meet employers’ requirements in the best
and most efficient way through standardizing procedures and
processes, reducing quality risk and non-compliance as well as
steady revision of implementation methods.
International certifications are a proof of MAPNA’s endeavor to
understand and respond to stakeholders’ expectations.

Social responsibilityA Deep Commitment
We believe that along with society and nature, we make the three sides of a triangle that creates the required
synergy to fulfill its aspirations and goals only through a win-win situation; that is why we define commitment
as something beyond its conventional boundaries: compliance to the fundamental principles of humanity,
offering harmless products/services, allocating financial resources to attain welfare, avoiding unethical
conduct in business, and doing whatever creates an ideal mixture of industrial and human lives.
• ISO 14031:2000 - TUV-NORD Certification • ISO 14001:2004 - TUV-NORD Certification
• DRON-VUT- 7002:10081 SASHO Certification
• HSE-MS TUV-NORD Certification (According to Association of Oil & Gas Producers Directory)
Technology and InnovationThirst for knowledge
In the inevitable transition from traditional processes of research and development to research and
technology, we believe that continuous improvement and promotion of products/services would not
be reached but through transfer of technical knowledge, localization of technology, and reduction of
technological gap in products/services. Therefore, for an efficient advancement of oil & gas projects, we
have signed renowned international agreements in fields of management and implementation of
upstream projects.

This EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning) megaproject aimed to produce a
daily volume of 50 million cubic meters of natural gas, 80 thousand barrels of gas condensates, 400 tons of
sulphur, and an annual volume of over one million tons of LNG and an equal volume of ethane, used as
petrochemical feedstock. The project was handed over to Aria Naft Shahab in due time.

Three) Unit 106 of phases 13, 14, 19, 22, 23 and 24
Equipped with eight compressor rooms, Unit 106s of South Pars gas field have a key role in transferring
ethane to Iran Gas Trunkline (IGAT). Unit 106 gas compressor station is a key processing unit in every South
Pars gas refinery. It receives sweetened ethane from the ethane recovery unit (Unit 105) and pressurizes the
gas before injecting it to the gas trunkline. During the pressure build-up process, gas temperature is raised up
to 156 degrees of Celsius, before being cooled down to 58 °C. The unit comprises eight compressor rooms
with the following facilities:
• Compressor suction tank for moisture separation
• One compressor and one gas turbine
• Gas cooler
• Gas transfer and metering system
(Two of the eight compressor rooms in Unit 106 are used as backups)
MAPNA Group is in charge of constructing gas compressor stations for Unit 106 of phases 13, 14, 19, and 22-24 in
South Pars gas field development megaproject. The units are now under operation.
• South Pars Phase 14 was the first Unit 106 project assigned to MAPNA Group. The project was carried out by
MAPNA Group oil & gas subsidiary Neyr Perse.
• MAPNA carried out another Unit 106 project in Phase 19 of South Pars gas field.
• Construction of Unit 106 in phases 22-24 was also assigned to MAPNA Group’s Neyr Perse by Petro Karan
Shafagh Kish Company.
• Neyr Perse was in charge of construction of another Unit 106 project in Phase 13, also commissioned by
Petro Karan Shafagh Kish.
The full range of engineering services, including detailed design, procurement and purchase, inspection,
testing, construction, precommissioning, and commissioning were carried out by MAPNA Group subsidiaries
and managed by Neyr Perse:
• MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (TUGA)
• MAPNA Generator Engineering and Manufacturing Company (PARS)
• MAPNA Boiler and Equipment Engineering & Manufacturing Company
• MAPNA Electric & Control Engineering & Manufacturing Company (MECO)
• MAPNA Operation & Maintenance Company
Four) 100 Turbocompressors for Iran Gas Trunkline (IGAT)
In 2007, National Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company commissioned MAPNA Group
with procurement of 100 turbocompressors to be deployed in gas compressor stations in IGAT. To
meet the demands of National Iranian Gas Company and based on the predefined composition of gas
compression stations, we chose the 25-MW gas turbine and its matching turbocompressor for the
stations following our 2009 studies on basic design. Extensive surveys led MAPNA Group to select DU80,
Zorya Mashproekt’s gas turbine, for indigenization. The compressors assigned for this project were Sumy
NPO products 322GC2-300/67-92 M1, 291GC2-400/67-92 M1, and 322GC2-400/50-76M1. A fruit of MAPNA
Group’s strategy to indigenize the turbines was the full-domestic design and manufacture of the 25-MW
MGT-30 turbine. The project was carried out by three MAPNA Group subsidiaries:
• Neyr Perse as project manager
• MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (TUGA) as procurer and manufacturer of
mechanical components (turbine, compressor, and auxiliary equipment)
• MAPNA Electric & Control Engineering & Manufacturing Company (MECO) as procurer and manufacturer of
control systems
Five) Oil & Gas Fields 3D Seismic Operation
For development of Forouz-B gas field, 3D seismic survey was carried out in the Persian Gulf in an area of
1200 square kilometers. The project was completed successfully in collaboration with international
partners.
MAPNA was commissioned by the Iranian Offshore Oil Company to carry out 3D seismic survey in several
other fields, including Northwest Tosan, Alpha, Northwest Reshadat, Sepand, and Siri L-Chavosh.
