    2. EMOLUMENTS

    Bes ides Basic Pay and Grade Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA) at the applicable

    rates, other applicable allowances and benefits such as Company

    Accommodation or HRA, medical facility, medical allowance, conveyance

    allowance, provident fund, gratuity, remote area allowance wherever applicable,

    hydro allowance, etc. will be admissible as per company rules in force from time

    to time. Pay protection for candidates who are working in State Govt. / Central

    Govt./ PSUs and have applied through proper channel may be considered as per

    the rules.

    3. WORK EXPERIENCE

    Minimum years of post qualification relevant experience at executive level for

    Assistant Manager (Human Resource Development) and Assistant Manager (

    Finance) is 02 (Two) years. Candidates having experience in Hydro Power sector

    wil l have an added advan tage.

    4. PLACE OF POSTING

    The place of posting may be at Corporate Office in Bhubaneswar or in the power

    stations of OHPC in the state of Odisha or in any other place of operation of

    OHPC.

    5. MODE OF SELECTION

    The mode of selection for Assistant Manager (HRD) & Assistant Manager

    (Finance) shall be through written test & personal interview. Eligible

    candidate will be called for written test comprising multiple choice questions from

    (i) General Aptitude (fifty questions) (ii) Subject Knowledge (one hundredquestions) to be conducted at Bhubaneswar. There shall be negative marking

    @ 0.25 for every wrong answer . Candidates qualifying in the written test shall

    be called for the personal interview at Bhubaneswar. Both the written test for

    Assistant Manager (HRD) & Assistant Manager (Finance) shall be held

    preferably on the same date and time.

    6. RESERVATION & RELAXATIONS

    The Upper age limit i s relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of SC, ST,

    S E B C and Woman candidates and 10 (ten) years in case of PH Candidates . In

    case of Ex- servicemen, the age relaxation will be considered as per Orissa Ex-

    Servicemen (Recruitment to state civil Services and posts) Rules, 1985.Reservation of posts will be as per the ORV Act and other applicable Acts and

    Rules. Concession meant for SEBC by birth is admissible to the Socially and

    Educationally Backward Classes of Odisha only. Candidates belonging to

    SEBC category shall submit their SEBC certificate validated/renewed by the

    competent authority in the current calendar year, failing which they shall apply as

    General category candidates.

    7. DEPARTMENTAL CANDIDATESDepartmental candidates (OHPC regular employees only) fulfilling the required

    qualification may apply for the post of Assistant Manager (Finance) only

    irrespective of age & rank. They are exempted from payment of application fees.

    8. OTHER CONDITIONS

    a) Mere fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not entitle the candidates to be

    called for written test and / or interview.

    b) In order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for written

    test/interview, the Management reserves the right to raise the eligibility

    standards.

    c) OHPC reserves the right to cancel/ restrict/ enlarge/ modify/ alter the

    recruitment process, if need so arises, without issuing any further notice or

    assigning any reason whatsoever.

    d) Management reserves the right not to fill some/ any/ all the positions so

    advertised without assigning any reason thereof.

    e) In case of non-availability or insufficient number of eligible/suitable

    women candidate(s) belonging to any particular category, the vacancies or

    the remaining vacancies reserved for women candidate(s) of that category

    shall be filled up by male candidate(s) of the same category.

    f) A pass in Odia Language test equivalent to ME s tandard is essential.

    Alternatively the candidate has to pass the requisite language test in Odia

    within time-period to be prescribed.

    g) Where ever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade in a degree is awarded; equivalent

    percentage of marks should be indicated in the application form as per norms

    adopted by the University/ Institute.

    h) Only SC/ST candidates called for written test will be reimbursed journey

    expenses (to and fro) by 2 nd Class Railway / Bus by the shortest route onproduction of copy of the ticket.

    i) Candidates working in State/ Central Government/ PSUs should forward their

    applications through proper channel or shall produce a No Objection

    Certificate (NOC) at the time of personal interview.

    j) The E-mail ID entered in the application form must remain valid for at least next

    one year. All future correspondences will be sent via E-mail only.

    k) The candidate finally selected should conform to the companys medical

    standards.

    l) Applications received after due date or incomplete applications or

    applications of ineligible candidates will be rejected outright without any further

    correspondence.

    m) OHPC takes no responsibility for any delay or loss of any communication in

    postal transit. No request in this regard will be entertained.

    n) Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.

    regular intervals for any notification, news, updates, results etc. relating to

    recruitment.

    9. PROCEDURE TO APPLY

    a) Application in the prescribed format (which can be downloaded from our

    website www.ohpcltd.com in A4 s ize paper along with two recent

    passport size colour photographs (one to be signed on the front & pasted

    on the form and the other to be enclosed). The applic ation f o rm has to

    be enc losed with the attested true copies of the following testimonials/

    documents:

    i) Document in support of birth proof/ Matriculation certificate.

    ii) All Certificates / Testimonials in respec t of qualifications (all semester/

    year wise Mark Sheets & Degree certificates starting from matriculation

    onwards)..

    iii) Caste certificate issued by the competent authority for SC, ST and SEBC

    candidates.

    iv) Physically disabled Certificate issued by competent authority mentioning

    proof of their type & extent of disability (if applicable).

    v) Ex-Servicemen are required to attach copy of Discharge Certificateissued by Commanding Officer of the Unit last served.

    vi) Experience certifica tes / Documents issued by the Employer(s) in

    support of experience details mentioned by the candidate in the Application

    Form.

    vii) No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer in case the candidate

    is presently employed in Central /State Government / PSU / Semi

    Government organization.

    viii) Document in support of passing the Odia Language test equivalent toME standard.

    ix) A non-refundable A/C payee Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.350/-(Rupees

    three hundred fifty only) (not applicable for SC, ST, Physically disabled

    persons and internal candidates) drawn in favour of Odisha Hydro Power
