The Buckeyes, ranked 8th in the Associated Press poll, take on Leaders Division rival Indiana in an 8 p.m. (EDT) game from IU’s Memorial Stadium. The Big Ten Network will televise the contest. OHIO STATE ONE OF FOUR AT 6-0 Ohio State, under the direction of three-time National Coach of the Year and two-time national champion Urban Meyer, is one of only four teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision to sport a perfect, 6-0 record. The others: Ohio, Oregon and South Carolina. Ten teams are 5-0 and two are 4-0, leaving the FBS with 16 unbeaten teams heading into Week 7. THE GREAT STATE OF OHIO FOOTBALL Ohio FBS football teams are a combined 32-13 this season and boast three of the nation’s 16 undefeat- ed teams: Ohio State, Ohio and Cincinnati (4-0). All three unbeatens played at home last week in front of solid (20,044 at Ohio’s Peden Stadium), sold-out (35,097 at UC’s Nippert Stadium) and spectacular (record 106,102 fans at Ohio Stadium) crowds.
