BookThe Brief: Design and make a conceptual book that includes a selection of previous work.

The Solution: I wanted to push the limits of a book, a normal left to right book is just boring these days. I decided to create a series of numbered cubes that force you to pick them up and interact with them, pick them up, twist them, turn them and look at each cube face to read its content. It is also useful to stack and swap around if you get bored.

KFC The Brief: Re-develop an existing campaign and make it the complete opposite of the current proposition.

The Solution: I decided to re-develop a KFC advertising campaign to turn the adverts point of view around and make it of that of the animals. The cow/pig is trying to persuade consumers to eat KFC thus the consumers are eating less beef/pork.

StationeryThe Brief: Design and make a stationery range for a politician.

The Solution: I decided to focus in on the issue that politicians never give a straight forward answer. I decided to make a factory range of stationery to reiterate the fact that politicians almost have a set list of ‘ready made’ answers to use for certain questions. On this the MP just ticks the right box for the most appropriate answer, I also added a litte humour by adding some answers that mocks politicians as if he is mocking himself.

CalendarThe Brief: Design and makea calendar to enter in the National Calendar Awards

The Solution: I decided to make a playful calendar for P&G product ‘Pringles’. I really wanted to show the playful side of Pringles that could be conveyed in the brand to further enhance the Pringles experience with abit more fun.

SoreenThe Brief: Develop a conceptual advertising campaign for Malt Loaf producers ‘Soreen’

The Solution: I wanted to really enhance the History of Soreen and how people could remenice about having a piece of malt loaf in their packed lunch as a child or what they remember about Soreen. My campaign was focussed around a website that allowed people to share memories about Soreen a forum and allowed them to see old adverts and packaging.

PosterThe Brief: Create and design a poster for an exhibition on Visual Graphics and Data Mapping at the Tate Liverpool.

The Solution: With this project I really wanted to push the boundaries on what constitutes a poster. I decided to go with an eye catching circle shape as the basis for my poster. I then used an example of Visual Graphics to display the exhibition information, follow each line to get a piece of information.

WebsiteThe Brief: Create a self promotional website that can be hosted on the internet.

The Solution: I really wanted to put a personal touch on this website to show how I work and to go hand in hand with my work. The main page is my portfolio to attempt to keep total focus on my work and then get other details if needed.
