Matthias Mroß is a graduate shipbuilding engineer

from the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg,

Germany. He also holds a diploma in ship management

from the Lloyd‘s Maritime Academy in London. After

completing his studies he joined the Rickmers Shipping

Company in Hamburg, where he supported the

shipbuilding programs at shipyards in Eastern Europe,

Korea and China. Along his professional career from shipyards via design

offices to shipping companies he gained comprehensive technical and

commercial insight. In the Thomas Schulte Group, he established

from 2008 onwards the new building department, which soon gained

international reputation.

Today, Matthias Mroß has close contacts to numerous shipyards, clas-

sification companies, as well as suppliers of the shipbuilding industry.

Through his responsibility for numerous ship new buildings, he is deeply

experienced in sale and purchase of vessels for many years.

Philippe Schönefeld is is graduated industrial engineer

and a graduate in the field of International Transport

management. He studied business management with a

focus on the marine industry at the Universities of Ap-

plied Sciences in Elsfleth, Germany and Vlissingen, The

Netherlands. Schönefeld‘s professional career started

at the Rickmers Shipping Company in Hamburg, where

he finally became responsible for business development and ship broke-

rage activities in the field of offshore wind projects.

Philippe Schönefeld can point to a widespread network of partners within

the offshore wind industry and numerous contacts to major utilities, wind

turbine manufacturers, project developers and offshore-related service

providers.

Sven Boedewig is a qualified shipping clerk / merchant

for tramp shipping. After he finished his education in in-

ternational shipmanagement, at the shipping company

W. Bockstiegel, Emden, Sven Boedewig started his pro-

fessional career as a worldwide operating shipbroker

in a renowned shipbroker-house in Hamburg. Today his

experience in sales and purchase is of benefit to the

customers of GRS. The same is true of Sven Boedewig‘s activity in a lea-

ding Hamburg based issuing house, where he gained fundamental insight

into the field of ship financing.
