The Melbourne Cup Carnival is one of Australia’s most captivating sporting events; which has grown to encompass Melbourne each November.

The carnival is unlike any other event on the planet, a combination of four unique race days that transform Flemington into the epicentre of racing, fashion, food and wine, culture and betting.

Situated opposite the winning post, this stand offers great views of the racecourse and city skyline at an affordable price (uncovered).

This indoor stand is air-conditioned and behind glass, protected from the weather. A sophisticated option. Please note, patrons in Saintly Place may need to stand in order to view the races.

This covered Grandstand is opposite the winning post and offers a good vantage point to see the racing with betting facilities closeby. Front and sides of stand subject to weather.

Payment Requirements

• Book now with a low 25% deposit plus any upgrades in full.• Finish off payment with the balance due by 2 August 2019.

Travel Documents and Event Tickets

Your Travel Documents will contain important information about your travel experience, tickets and information about the services you have booked.

Travel documents will be sent at least 14 days before the event begins by email or mail. More information will be provided during the booking process. Events Travel reserves the right to change the Travel Documentation process at any time.

FAQs

Can I buy tickets by themselves?

We can sell Hospitality Tickets individually with a small booking fee, but we do not sell Grandstand tickets individually. As an Official Tour Operator, we are appointed to sell great value travel packages to help fans travel to and enjoy the event. As such, we recommend choosing a complete travel package, or customising your own with us.

Can I add extra nights to a package?

We have contracted rates at a number of hotels before and after the event and can add on any extra nights you require. Ask us for a quote today.

How do I book a package?

How do I get to Flemington from my hotel?

All of our recommended hotels are within the Melbourne CBD area and as such have great public transport options to Flemington. Within our Packages we include a MYKI card pre-loaded with $20, that you can use to take direct trains to Flemington on race days. More information about transport options relevant to you will be provided with your travel documents. We can arrange private transfers to and from Flemington if you require.
