Berlin Telecommunication project

Customized generating set with very low noise level. The machine has a power of 2000 kVA and it is placed

inside a special canopy 75 dB(A) at 1 m. The total height of the

canopy is around 7 meters and it is equipped with motorized louvers, fire

detector system.The engine has redundant electric

starting system (double electric engine, double battery pack, double

battery charger) and the alternator is double bearing with thermistors.

Formula 1 circuitDuring 2008/2009 our generators were fully involved in the formula 1 World Championship, since Abu Dabhi and Singapore Grand Prix were fully supported by Pramac generators. GSW generators, installed all along the circuit, operating in parallel mode and running independently of the mains electric system were providing the needed power. Total capacity of the machines up to 9.7MW. In particular, the 2008 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix, was the first ever Formula One race held at night under an impressive floodlight system, supported by 24 Pramac generators.

tQatar MotoGP circuitThe photo of Qatar MotoGP World Championship by night made the world tour. The leading role was played by 44 PRAMAC generators with a total capacity of around 11MW. Each generator, provided with sand trap air filters, supplied 315 kVA power. The material supplied by our company has sustained a spotlight system which covered the area of 70 regular football fields, with an amount of power that could illuminate an imaginary street from the capital of Qatar, Doha, to Moscow in Russia. Impressive numbers and distances!

Formentera ENDESA projectPRAMAC has been, once more, the company selected by ENDESA to supply 8MW during summer period, in order to help the main grid in Formentera Island, next to Ibiza, needed to secure all the electricity required by the high number of tourists.The seven PRAMAC generators were installed, using paralleling synchronization with main grid connection. The main characteristics of this project: -simple composition of seven units generating sets of prime power each 1.720 Kva;- simple transportation and installation;- high soundproof level in a 40 feet container each;- low pollution level;- simple synchronization operation;- low fuel consumptions.The plant was a turn key project and it included also electrical connections, fuel pipe connections and external storage tank.

PRAMAC S.p.A. has launched the two microaeolian generators, designed by Philippe Starck,whose project was started in 2007. The officialpresentation was held in Milan, during the TriennaleExhibition, with a special event attended by theentire Pramac S.p.A. Management, Philippe Starkand more than…guests. Frist important contractswere signed with major international Companiesand several units were shipped worldwide. PramacWind Business Unit was created to organize andmanage logistic, production, promotion, sales &marketing as well as to coordinate future projects.

Pramac LabResearch and Development

PRAMAC LAB is PRAMAC GROUP’s Research & Development division, located in the HQ at Casole d’Elsa. Its mission is “to develop technologies, methods and products linked to the Pramac core business, as energy production and its application, such transport, storage and conversion”.

Together with other Research Centers and Universities, offering the opportunity to students and young engineers to cooperate in realistic projects. Technologies, methods and products developed by PRAMACLAB are transferred to the PRAMAC Technical Offices for engineering industrialization and mass production launch.
