Conference Schedule

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIESYour company’s sponsorship of the 2013 LWEA Technical Conference will help LWEA continue to develop quality edu-cation programs and scholarship opportunities, while keeping registration costs to a minimum. Level Sponsorships are used to help offset annual conference events such as the luncheon programs, the crawfish boil and awards banquet, and other costs associated with the conference so that registration proceeds can be invested in the future of our environment by funding scholarships for Louisiana’s future environmental professionals.

Sponsorship LevelsPlatinum • $1,500, Gold • $1,000, Silver • $750, Bronze • $500Equipment/Materials • VariesPlease refer to the Sponsorship Packet at lweaonline.word-press.com regarding recognition that accompanies each level.

OPERATIONS CHALLENGEThe 2013 Technical Conference will also include the Opera-tions Challenge. Designed in a similar format as the national event held at WEFTEC, the Operations Challenge is a com-petition open to wastewater treatment plant operators from

around the state. Registration for the Operations Challenge event is open to all Louisiana operators regardless of mem-bership in LWEA or WEF. Out-of-state participation will be allowed, space permitting; however Louisiana-based opera-tors will receive priority. Contact Cynthia Wagener for more information at [email protected].

CRAWFISH BOILThe Crawfish Boil and Awards Banquet will be held Thursday April 18th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on the conference grounds. The outdoor crawfish boil will feature crawfish, soft drinks, beer, and music. All full conference registrants and exhibitors (one per booth) will receive a ticket to the crawfish boil. Extra tickets are available to purchase on the registration form.
