Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Travel by personal car or with admissions staff member is required. The Student Ambassador program enables visitors to meet our students and discover what college life is really like at IUPUC.

The value of student ambassadorsIUPUC Student Ambassadors are friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and have a positive influence on others, while working to increase an awareness of IUPUC in south central Indiana. Student ambassadors serve as an effective campus resource and are often utilized in a wide range of different university activities.

Expectations and activities

▪ Attend regularly scheduled ambassador meetings

▪ Devote approximately four hours weeklyto student ambassador activities

▪ Assist with on and off campus events: VIP Daysinformation sessions, campus tours, high school visits, prospective student visits, special career and job fairs, and college visits

▪ Set an excellent example for current and prospectivestudents to follow

▪ Exhibit enthusiasm, energy, sincerity, and knowledgeof the university

▪ Be willing to get involved with other campus clubs and organizations

▪ Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0

Personal and professional development benefits

▪ Develop skills like presentation, networking, team work, time management, public speaking, etc.

▪ Obtain an ambassador scholarship each semester for time and efforts
