Building on Diversity is a pre-orientation

program hosted by the Roanoke

College Office of

Multicultural Affairs for incoming

freshmen. Participants have the

opportunity to become more familiar

with the Roanoke College Community

while having fun! BonD is also a

program devoted to

celebrating diversity and embracing

differences!

MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is

committed to developing and implementing

programs and services to educate the

Roanoke College Community regarding

issues of diversity.

One way OMA supports students of diverse

backgrounds is through the Building on

Diversity (BonD) and Multicultural Mentor &

Mentee (M&M) Program. Mentors are upper-

classmen who are ready and willing to show

you the ropes and assist in making your transi-

tion to Roanoke College smooth and fun. This

year the program will take place August 17th -

21st. Mark you calendars and register now to

participate in BonD.
