Circulation: Frio St. Improvements

• Construction will cause temporary

closures. As a safety concern, the

north entrance into Monterey

parking lot will be closed except to

pedestrian traffic.

• A new entrance on Buena Vista

will allow vehicles to access the

Monterey parking lot from Medina

St.

• The new drive will also allow traffic

to exit Monterey parking lot and

head north on Frio St. or east on

Buena Vista St.

• All pedestrians will need to use the

crosswalk at the corner of Buena

Vista and Frio St.

• Vehicular traffic will only be

allowed right turns into, or out of,

the Monterey parking lot.

will be moved temporarily

• North bound riders can board

VIA at the east corner of

Cesar Chavez and Frio

Street.

• South bound riders can board

VIA at the Magistrate on west

During construction, the east lanes of Frio

St. are closed. For the safety of the

pedestrians crossing at the intersection of

Frio St. and Buena Vista St., the north drive

into the Monterey Lot will be closed.

• Exit IH10 at Durango, follow the off ramp at Frio

St.

• Head north on Frio St. Past the campus

• Turn left on Buena Vista frontage road, head west

• Go under the bridge on Medina St.

• Head east on Buena Vista back to Frio St.

• Turn right onto Frio St.

• Enter Monterey parking lot through the south drive

on Frio St.

Cross walk on Frio St., between Frio St. Building and Monterey Building is closed. Detour signs are posted to direct pedestrians to the cross walk at the corner of Buena Visa St. and Frio St.
