These Contract Documents are the property of the Architect. The Architect bears no responsibility for the interpretation of these documents by the Contractor. Upon written application, the Architect will provide written and/or graphic clarification of the intent of the Contractract Documents. The Architect will review the shop drawings submitted by the Contractor for design conformance only.
Drawings are not to be scaled. Contractor will verify all existing conditions and dimensions required to perform the Work and report any discrepancies with the Contract Documents to the Architect before commencing work.
The Architectural Drawings are to be read in conjunction with the Project Manuals & Specifications and the Structural, Electrical, Mechanical and Landscape Drawings and Specifications. In cases of differences between the consultants' documents with respect to the quantity, sizes or scope of work, the greater shall apply.
Position of exposed or finished Mechanical and Electrical devices, fittings and fixtures are indicated on the Architectural Drawings. Locations shown on Architectural Drawings shall govern over Electrical and Mechanical Drawings. Electrical and Mechanical items not clearly located, will be located as directed by the Architect.
Dimensions indicated are taken between faces of finished surfaces except as otherwise noted.
Refer to Mechanical and Electrical Drawings for locations of openings in slabs and walls, for services.
All work to be done in accordance with all provincial and municipal codes and agencies having jurisdiction.
