Senior Girl Scouts
On Future Careers Several professional women last
week discussed careers for women for Senior Girls Scouts at a "Career Night" in the YWCA. The session was sponsored by the Senior Scout Planning Board.
Representing the teaching profession was Mrs. Ronald Ives; nursing. Mrs. Faye Lindhurst; scouting, Miss Jean Bowen; secretarial positions. Mrs. Irene Hogue; and home economics, Miss Lydia Darrach.
Each speaker outlined the education needed for the position. personality requirements, what the work requires of the individual, opportunities for advancement, and why it is necessary for each person to like the specified type of work.
Advisors to the planning board are Mesdames Harry Prosser and .lames Undholm. Members of the board are:
Judith Karkau, Thelma Pierce, Judith Wellman, Mary Metlafc, Sharon Goit and Jean Chase.

Mrs. Grendise Heads Society For New Season
Mrs. Leon Grendise is the newly-installed president of St. Rita's Society to serve during the current season.
She and other officers were installed recently in the home of Mrs. John Gworek, 199 Spaulding St.. hostess for society members.
Mrs. Anthony Chmielowiec administered the oath of office to Mrs. Grendise and the following:

Brownie Troop 1115 at a recent program in Mullen School celebrated its first birthday.
New Brownies invested were:
